Well I was reading the reviews on this site and I felt great to read the views of so many well read ppl. As a result I have also planned on making a little addition on to this list.
Like many
other ppl I think one of my all time favorite books is" To Kill a Mocking Bird by Harper Lee" I have read many reviews about this book and all of them mention the theme of truth, principles and justice in this book. But according to me there is one more important theme which ppl failed to mention. The theme which impressed me the most was "relationships". This book is a beautiful tale of a relationship between two motherless kids and there father. The love, affection and the trust makes this relationship outstanding. In fact I was so impressed by this theme that I wanted to write my world Lit on it but unbfortunately I couldnt, anyways a must read for ppl looking for serious , sensible writing.
Secondly, This one is not a book but rather a short story but nevertheless worth a read., " Blow Up" by Julio Cortazar is an amazingly written short story about the reality and imagination and the thin line which divides both. An amazing movie was made on this story, which I understood only after watching it for 3 times. A warning the story is difficult to understand and dont ask someone to explain it to u coz the purpose of this story is to understand it on your own and relaise you own reality and fanstasy.
Thnx
