So, what can be said. 300 men holding off an Army of
100 of thousands of men. Good winning over Evil. Right vs Wrong. Great
men betrayed by the ungreatful. Love, Lust, and a beautiful dance by a
half naked redhead. All this and more thrown together into one movie.



But WAIT!!! If you are looking for Historical facts, dont watch this
movie. This movie is based on a Graphical Novel, Adult Comic Book, not
on the complete and true history of this battle.



I loved this movie. It is worth the 9.50 (or what ever you pay) to
see this movie on the big screen. The bigger the better. This is one of
those movies that is made great by a large screen and good sound. So,
if you have a high end Digital Theater with a High End sound system,
that is where you want to watch this movie.



As for the plot, this is a war movie loosly based on a battle in
the Greek/Prussian war. I dont want to give away more than that.



One thing to think about. This is not a "Children’s" movie. But if
you are not offended by brief nudity (a womans breast and a mans
hind-end) and you are not worried about your teenage children seeing
blood (less than in some video games) then dont be so worried about
teenagers seeing this movie. There are 2 assumed sex scenes, one more
graphic than the other. And lots of people die (including an
interesting way to treat the dead bodies). But this is a 15 - 17 boys
dream movie. Blood, Guts,  and battle all in one big production.
Depending on the maturaty of your children, this is not as bad a Rated
R movie as say "Purple Rain" although it is as graphic as "Saving
Private Ryan".
