Ive dealt with 101inks for a couple of years. Until recently, I never had a problem with their products, availability or shipping. Their prices are outstanding.
However, with my most recent
order for two cartridge packages for an Epson Color Stylus 6600 printer, they included the incorrect black ink cartridge. The printer calls for a high capacity black cartridge (and it is advertised as such on their website). Instead, they shipped a standard capacity black cartridge which has an entirely different stock number. Although the cartridge will fit in the printer, each time I print something, I get a message that there is an incorrect cartridge installed. This requires an input each and every time that I print a document.
This is where the customer service department comes in. I sent an email explaining this situation and included the applicable invoice number as requested. I heard not a word from 101inks for over a month. I followed that up by leaving a voicemail message at customer service. It went to someone named "Maria". Once again, another month passed with not a word from the customer service department.
Finally, I sent another email complaining about the lack of service and response. Once again, I included an explanation of my problem and included the invoice number. They responded by asking for my invoice number. I sent it again along with a repeat explanation of the problem. Today, I received a message from their customer service department telling me that they dont stock the cartridges which they included in my order.
Im looking at the box containing the cartridges they sent. Quite clearly they are the incorrect cartridges and are the very ones they claim they do not sell or stock!
They may have very good prices, but the rest of this outfit leaves a good deal to be desired. Depending on how they work this out, they probably have seen the last of my business.
