Though my office is close to the restaurant, I couldn’t visit this
place for a long time. Then one Sunday evening we landed with close friends and 2 kids.

We got good seating and I went for tossed season salad with some garlic bread. For the main course I Spagetti Norma and some Farfalle dish. Our five year old gave the verdict by polishing off the pasta and demanding more. We ended the evening with Tiramisu. This was probably the best tiramisu I have had in a long time in Bangalore. The evening made us forget the bowling alley where the air-con had gone kaput!

Two days later, we had guests at home and the mention of dinner, the little one remembered the dish he had at the restaurant, screamed that should have the butterfly dish at 100 ft. He remembered the bow ties shaped or butterfly shaped pasta called farfalle. So the family along with the guests landed in Indiranagar all the way from Malleswaram in the rain.

We sat inside due to the rain and enjoyed the ambience amidst all the artifacts/ knick-knacks being sold there. The waiters got a chair for the eight-month-old baby. He was all too excited and went goo and gaa.  The five year old wanted the butterflies before the drinks came along. The waiters got the message that the boy meant business and came up with the dish in quick time.

In the meanwhile, my wife went to change the diaper of the little one and left an Rs.500 note outside the loo while waiting for the door to open. Then returned having totally forgotten the currency note. She remembered after a while and quietly walked and was a having a chat with the manager and returned with a smile and an envelope in her hand. The envelope said, “Guest had left Rs.500 note outside the washroom.”

These days for everyone to be satisfied when in you go in a group is a tough ask. I have to admit the restaurant did a good job in quality of the food and way of serving the same. We enjoyed the food in the garden and the indoor setting.
