I tried Head and Shoulders when it first came out in Australia because of all the advertising. It looked so good on the ads. I don’t have a dandruff problem, but sometimes in the heat, my scalp gets a little itchy. So basically what I look for in a shampoo is a nice, lightly medicated one to help with my scalp problem, and to prevent a dandruff problem of course.

I tried Head & Shoulders, but only used the 1 bottle and will never buy it again. The reason why is that I found it abit harsh on my hair. It was thick and not easy to lather, and my hair became more rough and very tangled, I had to use a lot of conditioner.

I suppose the strength of it makes it a good and effective anti-dandruff shampoo. But I believe unless your dandruff problem is really serious, it may be too strong to use on your hair every day, or even every 2 days.

Right now I am using Sunsilk Scalp care - anti dandruff shampoo and conditioner in one, and that really is a great shampoo. It is nice smelling, light, and leaves my hair soft. I do need another conditioner afterwards but it is not nearly as tough as Head & Shoulders.
