Guiding Shastra- Feng Shui

Welcome everybody with bunch of chi elements !!
I think you
feel relaxed and happy with my warm welcome. Exactly in the same manner Feng Shui Shastra deals with you, your family life and home/career affairs. Basic principles of this Shastra enriches your life. Feng Shui is highly recognised in Hong Kong just like Vastu-Shastra in India I think. It is Chinese belief that if things are placed in definite manner it gives tremendous benefits to human life. Dear friends, I have started believing in it as I checked and followed it at my home and got nice results. As such, thought to write down about Feng-Shui Shastra whatever I know and experienced....
Whether it is home or office directions given when followed will show you best results and you feel more relaxed than before..even many times get amazing surprises making you happier. Priya (MS id Pete) has mentioned about online classes from American Feng Shui Institute, which teaches traditional Feng Shui. I read few books and tried whatever I could do at my home. Unfortunately I read on this topic after opting for VRS otherwise it would have been great benefit for my office life too.
I had to re-arrange the things at my home without help of interior decorator). These included green plants, fish tank, my gas-stove, drinking water containers, study table, metallic flower pots, spare metallic bars of old mosquito net, beds, dining table, some pictures and the list goes on... Only thing I was lucky that bath place, kitchen ota, study room and doors were already according to Shastra’s instructions. Thank God that it saved me wasting money on opting for another flat according to specifications recommended by this Shastra.
Now let us see what it taught me-
1) Flat should not be on the pillars,
2) It should not be on the top floor,
3) Main Door- Main door of flat/apartment should be without any obstacles, should not be in front of toilet, without any mirror in front of it, no obstacle in the form of pillar etc. in front of it.
3) Auspicious symbols should be prominently placed,
4) Fish tank should be placed drawing room hall (East,north and South-east are proper dimensions and bed room is not recommended place).
5) Don’t keep pictures showing cruelty,wars on the walls,
6) Hang Feng-Shui coins,bells at Main Door handle.
7) Dining table should be nicely decorated with fruit/veg.picture on the wall near to it Or keep mirror reflecting things on the table ( I think this enriches ample food),
8) Avoid keeping Cactus/ Bonsai plants,dry flowers in any part of home instead use green plants,fresh flowers which I think shows/enriches prosperity and progress.
9) Buddha idol, frog with three legs are told as signs of prosperity,
10) Family photo in happy mood should be kept prominently (it improves family relationship),
11) Avoid keeping any waste material or irrepairable articles in home (esp.watch),
12) Keep toilet always clean and maintained with proper care reg.taps,plumbing etc.and keep doors of toilets closed,(I think this is to keep health),
12) Picture/pair of love-birds in the house is supposed to represent the happy couple in marriage area (South-West),
13) Study area should be at North-East and supported by picture of Mountains, Pyramid may be kept on study-table which is sign of progress,
14) Kitchen gas stove should be at South area of home and picture of red flowers/ red fruits be on the wall/tiles above it (red is colour of Fire),
15) Water place, bathrooms may be at North area of flat,
16) Drinking water containers should be invariably kept away from gas stove on Ota, (This reduces quarrels as fire and water are contradictory symbols),
17) Plants be at South-East and East areas of flat/apt.,
18) Metal items can be kept at West and North-West area of the flat/apt.,
19) earthen pots/ yellowish articles etc.can be kept at south-west or north-east areas,
20) Last but not the least Keep kitchen/gas burners always clean,
Now I did most of the things from above re-arranging the things and decorating according to instructions of Feng-Shui shastra. It helped to welcome Chi- elements (i.e.auspicious/most wanted things).
According to me Feng Shui is shastra which changes one’s face of life improving wealth condition, health conditions, relationships, career i.e. basic factors to live life happily. What do you feel ?? Tell me friends.
