I am happy to present here my review on air-conditioners. I am writing this as a lay man with some knowledge on air-conditioners. It will be correct thing for the air-conditioning engineers to write this review since it involves lots of technical information but all know how perfect Indians are, people go on the basis of price rather than quality. In India quality products don’t sell much as for as turnover is concerned. The Sales executives brain wash the customers and sell fake products thus making quality products taking back-seat.

First point I want to say is that assembled vs. branded go for branded one.
I have seen assembled piece which is not good in quality viz., noise-very high, cooling not sufficient/consumes more electric current. Only one area where you get good service is that when you call they come immediately and work on the air-conditioners to the satisfaction of the machine they work nicely. The assembled engineers listen to you patiently and they try to set right the machine but to the satisfaction of the machine.

I tried VOLTAS AIR-CONDITIONER, it is very good but engineers say it consumes more electric current. First five years it worked nicely without any problems. The service often mis-quoted as horrible did not happen during my purchase. The services rendered by Voltas company was excellent. Don’t listen to those fake companies executives who tell lies about the company VOLTAS. From the sixth year my Voltas air-conditioner did not function to my satisfaction and so I sold it.

Recently a few years before I bought Carrier Air-conditioner. This CARRIER air-conditioner is much better than Voltas air-conditioner. At the time of running the Carrier air-conditioner makes lesser noise than Voltas. I get the feeling that Carrier Air-conditioner is better than Voltas. I came to know that CARRIER AIR-CONDITIONER is the original inventor of air-conditioner.   I recommend the readers to buy the Carrier air-conditioner since I have tried and tested in my residence/office.

Recently I came to know another information, but this needs to be confirmed by the technical people that O-GENERAL air-conditioner is better than Carrier air-conditioner. This O-GENERAL air-conditioner is from Japan and makes less noise while functioning. O-GENERAL air-conditioner is tested in Arabian countries it seems. I am likely to buy this O-GENERAL air-conditioner and see for myself whether it is better than Carrier air-conditioners.
