I have used the eye make-up remover solvent several times before, and was pleased when I got a sample size of Clinique Extremely Gentle Eye Makeup Remover. I had been wanting to try it for quite some time.

The cream has no scent, which is very traditional to Clinique’s products. It has a lotion texture, which I didn’t find very appealing considering that I had to put it all over my eye area.

The unpleasent part came next. You have to tissue it off. It may not sound bad, but try to get a lotion residue off your eye area, without tugging on the skin is next to impossible. As I’m finishing up the sample now, I’ve given up on using a tissue, and now just rinse off with water. The lotion texture does remove all the make-up. However, it still feels like there is a residue left over.

Not my favorite Clinique product, and after I’m through with the sample, I’m running back to my Clinique counter and getting the Make-up remover solvent again.
