I promised to write about our new computer. This computer is just right for our home computer needs.

The Product

Dell® Dimensions™ 2350 is the base model for Dell® computers. The prices starts out at $499.00 and you can choose all kinds of upgrades depending on your specific needs. You can also elect not to make any adjustments and order the unit the way it comes. However, we chose to make some changes. Our total cost was $1100.00. We feel we got the best deal for us. There may be a model by another company cheaper out there somewhere, but for us it was the Dell® name as well as the choice of computer. Low budget is what Dell® offers.

Warranty

We chose to purchase a 4-year in home warranty. By doing this we saved $70.00, which will be rebated to us along with a rebate of $150.00 for buying this unit. A total savings of $220.00. you can read more about warranties on the Dell site.

There is also an online Service and Support and Technical assistance should you need it.

How I Feel

My goodness I am so excited about this new computer! The pages load so much quicker than the old one we had and the color is better. The computer is black in color. There is also a speaker with “woofer” that is just awesome! Now I know some of you have already had that speaker experience, but not us!

When using the keyboard, which rest easily in my desk tray for the keyboard, the keys are very easy to push, so easy in fact that you will type the wrong thing before you know it and that took some getting use to! The keyboard seems to be very sturdy. The mouse is a ball unit and rolls very easy around the new mouse pad I got from Dell®.

I love the monitor as well. The 17-inch is not as bulky as my old monitor. It actually fits on my desk with no problems. The black color looks really nice.

I was very satisfied with my transaction at Dell®. The order process went smoothly and the check out was just as easy. Read my review about www.dell4m3.com found at the link provided in the beginning of this review.

The software that came with it: Word Perfect™, Britannica™, Quicken™, Aol™, Earthlink™, and of course Windows XP™. There is also a fax machine should I want to use it. There were copies of all the software on CD’s for reinstalling and of course CD’s for the system. There was a booklet and instructions, which putting the computer together hasn’t changed, so that part was really easy! And besides, the color coordinates are great!

We have thus far enjoyed our new Dell™ Dimensions 2350™ computer. I think that we will have years of fun to come! And of course this review was typed on it!
