This movie was a total crack up. I’ve seen it five times now and still it makes me laugh horrendensly.
The composition of this film is well presented. Kris ’with a K’ or shall
I dare say Krishna is the main actor in this comedy. He is an Indian raised in America who does not like to take interest in his cultural upbringing. By having this perspective towards the Indian culture Kris is inclined towards many obstacles when he attends tertiary education.
The comedy in this film is very original and very Indian I might just add!
Although this film intially presents a character that is so decisive about his own heritage in the end Kris has overcome his quarrels with the help of his other Indian ’roomies’.
American Desi is a film that can be watched by anyone..I mean you don’t have to be Indian to watch it. My friend watched it and she isn’t Indian but she too enjoyed this comedy thoroughly.
So hope you all get around to seeing it sometime.
