Kuch Kuch Hota Hai....the movie couldnt have been more aptly named. Everytime I watched the movie, which by the way runs into multiples of 10, something always used to happen..and id be drawn into
an imaginary conflict about what would have happened if Tina had not died the untimely death that she did in the movie. Would Rahul ever have realized his true feelings for Anjali? Would Anjali ever have had married and lived a happy life? Well...its an interesting thought, although a bit depressing ..simply because Kajol immortalized the character Anjali in a way that people started thinking about the character more than what was portrayed in the movie. That, for me, is what a successful movie is all about. If a movie can capture the audiences imagination and take it outside of its own scope, then it ceases to be just a movie, but becomes a milestone. Well...call it exaggeration if you want, but undeniably, this movie was one of its kind...and will always be special. After all these years, I am yet to see another movie which could capture my imagination quite like KKHH....and all credits to the people involved in the making of the movie...and KAJOL and SRK deserve a special mention. This being my first review, I didnt want to go the usual way wherein the films story is narrated with various levels of details, because i already read several reviews which touched upon that. So this one is for the people who have already seen the movie, read the reviews, and just want to relive the moments...hope you like it. Thanks.
