Music has a way of reaching and touching our hearts along with our most inner thoughts. Have you ever found yourself crying, or remembering a romance you once had just by listening to a love song? Have
you ever warned your self that would stay away from the radio station that play the most romantic, and heart touching songs to avoid crying? Are you among the many people who look forward to an evening of relaxation when turning to your favorite radio stations that play romantic tunes through out the evening. These moments when listening to love songs on the radio can be very special when making love to your partner, having dinner, or just enjoying each others company.
Romantic ballads have a way of making you think, and reflect. My taste in music is diverse my taste include, R & B/soul, soft rock, and pop. I love these songs on my list because of the lyrics, and music. The lyrics evoke strong emotions heart aches, and happiness of bad, and good relationships, the ideal lover, and what its like to have that ideal lover. The relationships, strong feelings of love, and the challenges that come with it all. The determination one can have to hold on to their relationship despite the heart aches and troubles they can bring. My chose of the best five English songs are:
If I Were Your Woman by Gladys Knight & the Pips released 1970. Gladys Knight is the lead vocalist on this wonderful and dramatic single. She sings with strength, and strong emotions of the dangers, and the dreadful effects of degrading your lover. The lyrics are powerful along with the dramatic soulful sounds of R & B/ soul. The back up vocals of the Pips also adds a boost of pleasure to this outstanding single.
Never Too Much by Luther Vandross released 1981 Luther Vandross sings this upbeat single with excitement. He sings of his ideal lover, and what a relationship with her will be like. He further stress his emotions when he tells us 1000 times in her arms is never too much.
You Light Up My Life by Debbie Boone released 1977. This is a single from the motion picture You Light Up My Life Debbie Boone sings this single with strong emotions after meeting who she believe is the man of her dreams. This slow pace, and soothing romantic track is heart touching.
How Deep is Your Love by the Bee Gees released 1977 is a single from the motion picture Saturday Night Fever. The Bee Gees do an excellent job with this very moving romantic single. The question is asked how deep is your love?
Endless Love by Dianna Ross & Lional Richie released 1981. Dianna Ross, and Lional Richie sing this beautiful duet with strength, and emotions. This single is a release from the motion picture Endless Love this lovely single relates to a teenaged boy who become obsessed with his relationship.
There you have it folks this is my chose of the five best English love songs. They are wonderful moving songs that evoke strong emotions of romance, happiness, and sadness. They are thought provoking singles with wonderful sounds of music. While the jargons in these various mediums of music are distinctive, these memorable singles have made their places in our hearts.
