Recently I went on a make-up buying spree for my daughter and myself. She was preparing for her Homecoming Dance at school and I was preparing for me!!! It has been a long time since I have used Cover Girl® products, so when my daughter informed me that she had chosen some make-up that she had saw over at the Cover Girl website, I was impressed with what she chose and decided to use it as well.

Cover Girl® Triple Aquastay Mascara

This mascara is wonderful! It thickens, separates and curls my eyelashes just like the package says it will do! And it’s waterproof, which is a plus for me. I will not wear mascara that is not waterproof!

Its easy to use triple action brush is soft and allows the mascara to go on smooth and not lumpy. This brush allows my lashes to separate evenly from root to tip and gives a curl that looks natural.

The color is black. It is also safe for those who wear contact lenses and glasses. It’s hypoallergenic, smudge proof and good for those with sensitive eyes.

What is a triple action brush you say? Well I will gladly tell you. This mascara brush is designed to work three ways in one brush. First it will detangle any lashes because of their optically spaced brushes, second fibers of various thickness allows for mascara to go on evenly and fully, and third, the coated ends allows the lashes to curl upwardly and evenly. Of course they call it a wand and I call it a brush. But no matter it’s the same thing!

This container is a lovely shade of blue with an easy to use silver brush/wand for the cap.

Price: $4.47 at our local Wal-Mart for a 9ml (.30fl oz liq.)

Dispose of mascara after 3 months is recommended.

How I Feel

Well I am impressed! That’s for certain. I have really enjoyed using this mascara a lot. It goes on smoothly and is not lumpy or clumpy. Leaves my eyes looking beautiful and my hubby says they are breathtaking. Now I don’t know about you, but when my husband says something like that I feel really good about myself and the product that I have used.

My daughter has really enjoyed it as well. And who would have thought that a 16-year teenager would get her 40-year-old mother on a new make-up product! Wow, is she smart or what! She looks stunning anyway, but now her eyes just reach out at you and say “Hey, these eyes are made to look gorgeous!” And they really do.

In the market for a new mascara I highly recommend using this one!
