Do you like to watch old game shows? I remember watching some great game show’s when I was growing up, but now today we don’t see to many game shows on TV any more. Yes we will always have
“The Price is Right” with good old Bob Barker and his sexy girls, and we might always have “Hollywood Squares”, but I still like those good old game shows of old times.
With the Game Show Network you can watch game shows all day and night long. My husband hates this channel on the TV but me and my children just love it. Here are a few game shows you can watch on this channel.
Hollywood Show Down this is a new game show, with the host as Mr. Newton, and boy he is cute. The object of the game is to pick a person from the panel who might have a card in their hand that says “Box Office”. If the person doesn’t have that word then their card will show a money amount and that money will be added to the box office total. Then the person that was chosen will come up from the panel and go against the other person by answering 3 questions right. The winner then keeps looking for the box office card. The questions are fun and cool, cause they deal with TV, Music, Big Screen, and Hollywood Actors/Actress. I love to play along and see how many questions I can get right.
Match Game I love this game, you get to see Brett Summers, and Richard Dawson almost each time it is on. The show is kind of easy, and the object of the game is to match the answers with the big time stars. Example Question: Mary loves it when ______ comes to visit her. You have to fill in the blank, and hope the stars wrote down the same answer as you did. This game show is sooooooo funny.
Card Sharks I loved this game when I was growing up. You have two opponents and they have to answer questions and the one who comes closer to the answer gets their chance to run the cardboard. If you get all 5 cards right then you are the winner.
Press Your Luck This is a fast moving game. You have to answer questions and each time you pick the right answer you can get either 1-3 spins per question. Then once the 4 questions are done you go on to pressing your luck. You have to watch a board full of money and free spins and vacations and other prizes and a lighted up square will work its way around the board. Once you say the word “stop” it will stop. You hope it doesn’t end up on a whammy cause if that happens then you lose all your money. The one with the most amount of money from pressing their luck will be the winner.
Those are just a few of my favorite games, but there are more to watch that I will name below.
Super Password, Password, Password Plus, Newly Wed Game, 3’s A crowd, Tattle Tale, Lets Make a deal, Who dares wins, Family Feud (both with Richard and Ray).
I would suggest you check this channel out on your TV and have fun playing along with the players. Its also a great station for kids to watch too.
