Okay, I read everyone’s reviews on Suave shampoo and decided to save a bit of money and try it out.

I’ve been using Pantene now for quite a while, which is fairly expensive so, I went out to my local Wal-Mart and purchased some Suave shampoo,(and conditioner) for dry hair. The savings in cold, hard cash was great. Pantene, at $4.39 for 12 ounces(prices have gone up!) and Suave at 99¢ is quite a saving.

I gave it a fair chance. I used it for 2 weeks, shampooing just as I normally would with my Pantene and conditioning the same.

Here is what I found after 2 weeks(7 washings). My hair felt drier, had more frizzies and lost the sheen that Pantene had given it.

Maybe it contains more detergent or harsher cleansing agents. I can’t say for sure. All I can say is that I did give it a shot. And was not at all happy.

So, for now, I’ll stick with my Pantene, but, I’m always willing to try something new. So keep writing your reviews!
