Beauty Pagents means many different things to each of us. I guess to a lot of the contestants, it means money, scholarships, getting notice, etc. I watch a program recently where these mothers would go to lengths just to get their very young daughters ages 1 to 15 in state pagents, national pagents, etc. They would borrow money, take time away from the rest of the family. Some even divorce their mates just to have their kids on tv, papers and all this for maybe a $1000.00 prize. Course they already have to paid for their out of town hotel rooms, dresses and costumes for the talent and these outfits are very expensive...It just made me ill. Then these children will have to practice at home and everywhere for hours.

One lady told she had already spent $45,000.00 in all kinds of expenses for 7 years with her child.


Beauty to me is kinda like this quote here and more.
