They say 'when things do not change, you better change'. Thus I had to migrate to another channel where I found the MJs were very mature, knowledgeable, interesting and professional. Radio Indigo impressed me thoroughly and they knew exactly how to run a programme. Guys, just hear them once and you ...will know what quality of the MJs is all about. It was for nearly one yaer that I went off Radio One. Hoping against hope I anticipated that someone would have done some bit of rehashing of the programmes and trained the MJs to be more professional. It was very pathetic to note that Radio One has gone Bad to Worse. They got some dame named Sunitha who announces in a sing song manner which is irritating. I wonder who has ever told her that she qualifies as an MJ. She requires a thorough revamping of her voice, technique and diction. Again, this MJ too seems to know only Kannada and some bit of English. Why cant they speak in Hindi when they are airing only Hindi songs all through the day? Prithvi is as breathless as ever and Shiiilpaaa is as artificial as ever. Please try to do something to get some maturity in the programmes and the MJs. i agree with the review about Red Bus. Be careful with redbus.in. The Red Bus has horrible tie ups with some of the most horrific bus operators. They are fleecing all of us. BEWARE PLEASE. There are better service providers. Go directly into their we site and book your seats. Worst Response from call centre/customer care

I am a frequent traveler and usually get my tickets booked through Red Bus. It was a matter of convenience that I was doing so till I got to know how terrible their services and tie up with various Bus Services are. The Bus to which they are tied up are of very poor standard and never stick to their... timings. I had some horrific moments when I recently traveled to Hyderabad and Chennai from Bangalore by bus which was booked through Red Bus. We are contributing a handsome income to them by booking on line. I am sure Red Bus too can understand the customer point when they turn back to them. I had an issue today when I had to cancel my ticket to Chennai since there was an emergency which cropped at Bangalore. I could not cancel the ticket since the service provider dos not have this facility. I called up the Customer Care seeking help. He just refused to help and instead advised me to go to the bus provider and try to sell it off. WHAT A BEAUTIFUL PIECE OF ADVICE TO GIVE. If I had the time I would have traveled instead. To make it worse, I was horrified to hear the Customer Care speaking to me rudely. Is this why we pay money to them for. Surely they should have some process to cater for such cases. My sincere advise to all commuters: PLEASE DO NOT BANK ON RED BUS. BOOK IT DIRECTLY THROUGH THE WEB SITE OF THE BUS OPERATOR. MAKE MY TRIP IS ANOTHER SUCH SERVICE PROVIDER YOU CAN BANK ON. Artha wellness, good service

If one is wise you never get fooled or cheated. I have been taking appoinments through Artha and its working fine. Guys, if you are being cheated by the sales team, then you need to go back to your basics. REMEMBER PREVENTION IS ALWAYS BETTER THAN CURE

Grow Up Radio One
FM 94.3 - Bangalore

Radio One seems to be suffering from withdrawal syndrome. They tried to improve their presentations for few weeks and suddenly its got sunk again. Prithvi with his BERTHADAEY BAKRA (this is how it sounds) and the tone of presentation puts one off. He did try to speak few words of Hindi which had a v...ery strong MTI. The only saving grace they have is Pavithra who speaks fluently Hindi, English and Kannada. She has a very good presentation skill and articulates herself well. It’s a pleasure listening to her. Shhhilpaaa sounds bit too artificial though much better than her male counterparts. Does make attempts to speak in Hindi once in a while. Her dictions on ads are more like a teacher tutoring her classes. Anjaaaaan does not have a full stop. He knows best and understands best what he speaks. We are left to guess what he is trying to convey. He has the knack to do it but possibly no one has pointed out that one sounds much better if you speak deliberately. Some of your programmes are very effective and entertaining. Please keep up the Ghanta Singh and Professor Ulfat alive. Looks like Chamarajpet Charles has gone hiding. We miss him a lot. The compere of Sunday Mr. Rishikesh was doing a very good job. Hope he reappears to boost the image of Radio One. Read More
