@hookme 'The city is very peaceful, you get very tasty food at reasonable price,' - Objective sentences would help us to continue the discussion. Subjective ones can only lead to open ended debate. 'the infrastructure is too good with wide roads,' - I never disagreed. ' Metro starting soo...n' - I've been hearing that since 2007....its 7 years only. ' also look at the airport it is world apart and the connectivity is superb.. ' - Agree and so are the other airports in most metros. 'the best part is the real estate is still not too high.' - How will real estate be high when there is so much turbulence in the place. Lack of opportunities and host of other problems. 'I have many people in my office who have gone to other places and they regret leaving HYD for more bucks..' - Our samples are different. I have several such people who left Hyderabad abusing it. 'The world is beautiful and look from a positive angle. ' - Seems you didn't really read the positive in my review. Please re-read it. There are also good things about Hyd, why are you hung up to the bad of what I have highlighted. 'Do go for a walk at KBR park inside 6am....' - I'm a nocturnal homosapien, but yes I used to go there for late night ice creams and drive. I used to stay @ Masabtank for almost 3 years. Miss that as of now :-)Read More

@hookme: 'Hi, Your Comments is one sided and looks like your experience is not real.' - What triggered to reach to a conclusion that I didn't live in Hyderabad? 'The city has a culture of its own unlike Bangalore. and you can find it if you meet a true Hyderabadi.' - Which is where y...ou are bringing subjectivity into play. Why a hyderabadi (who will certainly appreciate his culture)...why not a person from moving population who would have experienced several such cultures and has something to compare against. - 'This is one city that has locals dominating the business and getting the best jobs because of the Brains they have, they are real smart on mind and most of the best programmers on world map from from this city.. Microsoft CEO Nadella, Fairfax MD, Prem Watsa is a Canada’sbillionaire he is from Hyd, GVK, GMR construction giants. You have people from the city in the USA holding the highest position and the meaty jobs. ' Going by your defination Sunny leone is a 'Great Indian' actress. Most of the examples in your refernce have never stayed in Hyderabad, for that matter India. So dont try to bag someone elses credit onto your name (your as in hyd). Oh I forgot the Hyd / telengana fiasco is all about snatching fame earned by someone else :-) How can this be different. - 'Hyderabadi's do not worry about money and are large hearted and i have seen that.' What you have seen is your view of the city and not necessaruly mine. You are free to share your opinion :-)Read More

As on today, it has run for 14800 kms: - Brakes have become pathetic. Front brake is very sharp and often forces to skid. Rear brake is super spongy...does not help at all at high speeds. I do not rash drive. Neither do I brake suddenly. - Once I had changed engine gasket, as the oil leaked. ... - Rear suspension is almost dead. Works only when there is a heavy duty pillion rider. - Milleage is 40 kmpl. Very good for a 220 cc engine. - Bike screaches above 70 kmph. - In short...time to sell and never but a Bajaj product.Read More

@ countme91 : The comparison was strictly against the peers...Canon SX10 IS, Fujifilm HS10 and like not against a DSLR. @ Sanjaydey: With all due respect to your way of looking at a camera purchase, I have highlighted issues around shutterspeed, ISO, focus, power source, external light source. Not... sure what else would you consider to buy a good camera. Again comparison is with peers mentioned above and all of them performed and sold good compared to Nikon. Thank you all for your views!Read More

You have experienced what 99% subscribers of these ISPs face. Very well expressed as well. As for the broadband speed, the fact is these ISPs took 3G connections from Govt auctions @ exhorbitantly high price and now to breakeven they are hampering the quality of general broadband connection. Remembe...r the days (precisely pre 3G days), when broadband used to be 200kbps anytime of the day and ISPs used to charge Rs 400 to Rs 600 for such connections. Why did all of a sudden the price touch sky or the speed degrade so much. 3G can gain momentum only by such tactics. Indian mass is still to accept 3G @ current scenario and 3G can be pushed only through these wrong means. The problem is less with the wired connection as 3G is still not available in wired versions. In short kill the dongle based broadband and artificially create the 3G demand for these customers.Read More

I was surprised to see there are only 19% customers who prefer Tata photon, as against 33% for the Airtel broadband. Damn I didn't check mouthshut for a review before getting photon. Moral of the story, stay connected to moutshut.com @reemasolanki : I'm having immense sadistic pleasure for caus...ing a damage to Tata tele business, be it by a small margin. Hope other act based on this review and save themselves from the 'pain'. BTW have you guys noticed that pretty much all Indian brands have a very low repeated customer ratio. We have still not forgot the story of Deccan Airways, which used to have the lowest repeated customer ratio and we all know what happened to it, eventually.Read More

Get speed get time - that's precisely what they advertise, but surprisingly it isn't true. So I got this connection on my wife's name, who works in a large Indian MNC and Tata photon guys had opened up a kiosk over there, with good discount package on the monthly rental. We just moved in from...Read more

The speakers are real value for money. I mean you will not get a single floor standing speaker with that power, that too 3 way at this price point. Not to forget without any compromise in sound quality. Though the highs are a bit 'bad' compared to other ranges, but you can overcome those with yo...Read more

Hi Welcome to the world of Bajaj bike, which will amaze you most of the times (with sarcasm). - Gear shift, water cloggin into the speedometre, acceleration not smooth .......just try not to think about all these when you are riding a Bajaj bike. These are genetic disorders in Bajaj.

Given all the parametres, Avenger is the only option. I own a Avy 220 (9 months now) and dont like it but hey do you have any alternative???

@ Juan Pablo: Both the bikes belong to completely different segment and taste. Ave 220 being a cruiser where as P220 is a mid sports bike. Contrary to what you have mentioned, the Pulsar 220 is prefered more than Avenger 220 (in India) because of the following reasons: - Although both the bikes r...un on same engine, but the specs are way different. Avenger 220 is tuned to give a smooth acceleration (atleast in books, none of the bajaj bikes are refined) whereas the P220 gives a thump of a sports bike, where you really feel the pump of a 220 cc engine. - Avy 220 has a pathetic rear brake compared to discs in a P220. - Pillion in Avy 220 is very narrow hence does not serve the purpose of a long cruiser bike compared to reasonably broad seats in P220. - Ratio of weight in Avy 220 is tilted more towards rear wheel compared a better wight ratio in P220. - P220 has gas shocks in rear compared to simple spring shocks in Avy 220. BTW I own a Avy 220 but certainly not happy with the bike after 9 months of purchase and pathetic service by the so called 'Pro biking' service personnel. Hope this helps :-)Read More

Visited Bajaj Service Centre twice after my third service, within a span of 2 weeks. All three instances with the same compliant, rear break makes sound, shocks create noise and acceleration at 3rd gear does not go beyond 42 kmph, overall speed limites to 80 kmph. And guess what all the three instan...ce they could do nothing, but polish the tank to show that they worked on the machine. Name of the Technical Managers at Bajaj Service Centres ( Kasturba Road, Bangalore) - Anil, Ravi, and seems they have a Sr. Supervisor named Badresh. On first instance the brakes need to be released from sticking to the tyre for which the supervisor suggested "Adjust pick-up". They increased the RPM instead and the bike was better compared to before servicing. But still it was dragging as the brake pads were sticking to the wheels. On second instance they had to release the brake pads and lower the RPM. Mr Badresh suggested to "adjust pick-up’ to the mechanics. They increased the RPM further and now the situation is the bike screams if you accelerate beyond 35 in third gear. I really wonder what this term "adjust pick-up’ means in their books.Read More

I again went to this lovely place a week back and found it completely fenced with high grills. Surely the beauty of the place has taken a toll but the beauty it is certainly not more precious than life of a person. Towards Tipu's execution point it looks good though.
