On 4th of this month I am in Mumbai to drop my Wife to her 'Maika'. In route I decided to meet my friend who is working in a Hospital. This is first Baby's Day Out for my two mnth old daughter. My daughter was enjoying her ride. Contrary to our beleif she doesn't cried or make a fuss of travelling as she was sleeping sound in the car. All was alright till I meet my friend in Dadar. Our meeting place is a small Hotel. It was 12-1 in the afternoon.
                       My daughter was calm at first but for her It's a lot of change in weather. In Pune though it's hot, it's dry but in Mumbai it's Humid. She suddenly started crying. We moved out of the hotel but she doesn't stopped. We try to calm her under a roadside tree, doesn't worked. We moved in the car and started A/C, she tried to feed her, She didn't stopped. Now the pitch of her cry was high. My wife doesn't know what to do. She also started crying. We come out of car and looking everywhere to find something to calm her. Ther was no public place to sit or some sittng arrangement or a garden nearby.
                       Suddenly I noticed ther was Bank of Maharashtra on the other side of road. Initially I hesitated but all of us entered inside. The branch was fully A/C with three four sofa. As we entered, the guard saw my baby was crying. You imagine in A/C premise with silence of a bank and my baby was crying, and we trying to calm her. The guard moved and started a fan directing cool air towards us. And like a magic baby stoped crying after few minute. Now she was comfortable making some noises in between. Till now we are all standing. The guard offered us to sit on the sofa. When baby was crying, one of bank employee jokingly said the baby does not want to open the account in the bank. All people in the bank remain calm even with the crying of the baby. After some time baby feeling sleepy. Wife enqiried a female staff about some place for feeding. She took her to the resting room and started A/C. When my wife come back, both my wife and baby were smiling.
                       I and my friend were sitting on the sofa. The guard offered us cofee. This all after even we are not their customer. We don't have any work to do with the bank. We were there for 40-45 min. Now baby was sleeping. We thanked all the staff. Then I went outside and started the car A/c then only asked my wife to enter the car and the rest of the journey was happy.
                      We were truly moved by the kind gesture of the bank staff. This changed my Image of Bank of Maharashtra, A farmer's bank, a govt bank. Now I decided that till my baby becomes older not to go anywhere out. And also come to know that my daughter love travelling.
