Da Vinci Code
By: monishka | Jun 08, 2006 11:17 AM
The first three quarters of the film is faithful to the Dan Brownbestseller. Hanks looked uncertain as Langdon. Tautou didn’t have thegreen eyes of Agent Neveu but she is still riveting. Her charactermakes you forget she was Amelie in her previous film....

To begin with, its not easy to adapt a book onto the screen for anyone. Directors do succeed but the essence of the novel’s magic lies in words on paper. However hard Peter Jackson, Steven Spielberg or Ron Howard try. They’ll make outstanding adaptations...

More or less satisfying movie
By: scopebhai | May 20, 2006 09:03 PM
If you are tired of watching fast flashy action and want to watch a slower more serious treasure hunt, with a historical angle, this is for you. Forget about comparing the movie to the book, in my opinion a book is always more satisfying. Compare it to...
