Horrendous

We had a very bad experience with Ethiopian airlines for our flight from addis ababa to London. It started off with a very rude gate attendant. Every single person was forced to check-in again at the desk. We had already checked in at the mahe, Seychelles airport, and were just connecting in add...Read More

Ethopian Airlines luggage scam

Jul 03, 2011 11:46 PM 7567 Views

Check in staff at LHR gave me goosebumps. Had a piece of paper thrust in  my face after I had checked all my bags in and later found that what it  really meant was that even though I had been informed by their customer  services that I was allowed 10kg on flight, it had been reduced to 7kg,  A l...Read More

Journey by Ethiopian Airline: A Severe Punishment

Please consider my reveiw as an eye opener for people who often travel by air. One of the initial response that any air lines provide is a pleasing or more appropriate "the smiling face of Air Hostess".But here the air hostess stands like a dumb statue with no pleasing attitude(as if thay hav...Read More

Hello everybody. I flew in Eithopian airlines to Lagos on a business trip via Adis. The experience was a terrible one while returning from Lagos. I checked at Lagos Airport in time and the flight was scheduled on it's correct time. We sat inside the aircraft and the plane came to tarmac for take...Read More

Plenty of luggage lost in Africa.  UK doesn't chase it. Ethiopian are useless at caring for travellers luggage that is "lost" in Africa. There are no security systems in place to prevent bags being stolen once you're into Africa.Offshore workers have lost dozens of bags travelling through ...Read More

Traveler Beware

Feb 15, 2008 09:00 PM 6040 Views

Lomé to Hong Kong - Guangzhou to Lomé. Both with well worn 757’s that are well past their best and not suitable for a transatlantic flight. The smelly and stained seats are cramped with no in-flight entertainment other than old cathode ray tube TVs with terrible colors in the aisles(...Read More

Not that bad..

What tempted me to write this review is the Professor?s write up. Initially I started writing a comment, but felt that it will be inadequate to express my thoughts. First I think it is injustice to assess an airline company with a 28 yr past experience. I flew by Ethiopian airlines in 2000, a...Read More
