By: mogmog | Oct 06, 2006 10:08 AM
Intro -I typically put in about 100 domestic sectors per annum, and have "Gold" status on 9W/S2/IT as well as Silver on VS. In addition, I head a small tech company, whichruns a lot of international travel mainly on the India / WCUSA route, for which...

I travelled from NY to Mumbai on 14th Aug 2006. At the JFK airport I was instructed by a British Airways authority to put my IPod 30GB from my hand luggage to my check-in baggage. I was also asked to keep my bag "OPEN" and not lock it or the officials...

By: ramsmshut | Aug 23, 2006 04:52 PM
On my flight from NJ, USA to Bangalore, India, on Aug 11/12, 2006. One of my checked in baggage was delayed for four days. When the bag reached me it was soaking wet -damaging whatever contents the thieves did not care to steal. BA refused to...

By: rishima Member's photo available | Jun 20, 2006 09:52 PM
Where do I begin ...? The first flight we (my husband, my son and me) took on BA was from Delhi to London. The flight attendants were absolutely awful. We asked for 2 glasses of water. The attendant came with one. When we told him again that...

A Travel Agents View
By: Sarigan | Sep 21, 2005 01:58 PM
I own a travel agency and actively try to avoid putting clients on a BA flight unless they insist on it or there is no alternative. There have been too many cases of lost luggage, overbooked flights, schedule changes and countless other mishaps for...

British Airways is one of the international airlines that I consider to be way (I mean WAY) better than Air India! Their service is some of the best, and they have good food. Their Indian food is really good too.   Plus, they have Indian stewardesses...

I dont like BA
By: adnannm | Jul 12, 2004 04:03 AM
Although the flight is direct to bombay and I get home soon there is nothing more to write in praise of BA. The food is lacklustre, the crew does not seem to be dedicated enough, there is always a queue at the gate at heathrow before boarding and the...

Flying with British Airways
By: RedHead Member's photo available | Jun 15, 2004 12:42 AM
...a very nice experience I?m reminded that when flying international, we should allow at least 1-1/2 to 2 hours for check-in. Being one of those people who would rather be early than be rushed, let?s opt for the 2 hours. After checking...

Think Twice - BA?
By: kp5050 Member's photo available | Jan 22, 2004 02:57 PM
The next time you decide to fly BA - Think Twice!. It is very sad to notice that the in-flight crew think that they are obligating by helping you in-flight. I flew Madras - Heathrow just two days back and felt really disgusted for having chosen...

Done the Bombay - NY/Chicago sector thrice, all of them by BA. It has the shortest layover time in Heathrow. Only 1.5 hours or less. Believe me or not, I’ve found British Airways pricing competitive to other airlines with BA giving me a 2 sector...

By: sahooa | Oct 23, 2003 11:38 PM
I am writing this review in an effort to be read about how BA really treats brown / third world passengers. My father had a harrowing experience at BA when he flew Calcutta - Heathrow - Chicago flight this year. Everything that could go wrong went wrong....

Delhi-London-Delhi flight review
By: batrarun Member's photo available | Jul 21, 2003 01:05 PM
In early July 2003 I travelled World Traveller Plus which is a cabin of 5 rows in a 2-4-2 configuration . The seats recline more than the normal economy class (though not enough to really take the weight off your spine). Seat Pitch at 38 inches was pretty...

By: LadyGodiva Member's photo available | Jul 16, 2003 05:52 AM
I flew from Chicago to London in March, 2003 on British Airways. First of all, I was surprised that when we checked in at the airport, the attendants were apologetic for us having to wait in such a long line. I looked at my friend quizzically because...
