A friend of mine told me about this movie and gave me the DVD. I wasn't too interested in it, as I have never been an ABBA fan...perhaps because at one stage. I used to hear everyone playing their music all over the place!! A day later, since we (my family and I) had nothing else to do, I put...Read more

Before deciding on which car to go for, decide what it is you want. If you want to buy a good car and have lots of money to throw around, look for some other car (other than a WagonR). If you need a lot of boot space and are a frequent traveller, look for some other car. If you want a car tha...Read more

A few years ago when I first heard Nusrat, I smirked at the faces he made and the constipated notes he seemed to hit.and then a friend of mine(a huge fan of his) gave me his album SANGAM to listen to.and since then I have been captivated, bowled over and simply crazy about Nusrat! For a person who is a staunch Louis L'Amour fan and who proudly professes that he reads only Western and that too Louis L'Amour and SUDDEN...to say that I loved this book is...well...guess that says it all! The name, the ads, and the colours most of all made me want to try this drink out...and having tasted it, and most of the flavours too, I conclude that the name, the ads and the colours are BIGGER and BRIGHTER than the actual drink itself! Looking at places I have seen through a time machine...!! Reading your review, I travelled once more that trip to Coonoor. I've been to all the places you mentioned, but hey, they are not the same any more. In ways, may I say it is better that you not visit them...so that you relish those memories l...est a revisit obliterate these misty blue memories!! PreethamRead More

Very true, Les... I started smoking for a while...and a similar thing happened. A friedn of mine pointed out that I was addicted...and would not be able to stop no matter what! At about the same time I was becoming aware of the stale taste in my mouth in the mornings that I used to hate...and so......to prove to my friend as well as to get rid of the taste, I stopped...! Once in a while I take a puff, but I am still far from getting addicted! Great review...and your positive attitude is quite infectious! Preetham Read More

While I agree, Les, that people should improve on their English, which is a common language...I firmly believe that Indians need to learn Hindi first! Not that they will get a job in some company if they do...but it is the first common language that every Indian should be knowing...and a language he... should be proud of speaking!
