Scorpio 2.2 Mhawk,SLE Refresh Model brought on 3rd July 2009.
Kms done - 25,000.
I have experienced very similar treatment from Bangalore Dealer Sireesh auto as well. Shift to 1st gear from second was very tight, when complained during 1st, 2nd and 3rd service, I was told that this new model Sco...rpio refresh is working as per design.
Later in 4th paid service I made the supervisor drive the vehicle without telling any thig abt the gear, he himself admitted that the shift to 1st gear is too tight and later some parts were replaced, inspite of asking multiple time on what exactly had happened, I was not told the reason.
Rear gear shift is also having problem, for which I have been told that when shifting to reverse gear, I have to wait for few seconds and then shift the gear.
Service folks had done the gear work, but they have not fixed the plastic console which holds the gear rod properly, it is making rattling noise and giving me feeling that it is an old vehicle.
They do not carry out proper check before the vehicle is handed over to customer.
Overall experience with dealer is WORST.
Overall vehicle performance - 7/10.
driver and front seat will be comfortable.
Middle and last row- you will rock in all possible axis while crossing humps, negotiating potholes, which has made most of the people sitting at back either to vomit or for sure get that feeling.
Power - Good.
Space - ok
Milage city with A/C - 10.1 to 10.5kms/lt
Milage highway with on and off A/C - 10.5 to 11.0kms/lt - avg speed of 90 -120kms/hr
