Excellent review!Agreed completely
I seriously had a tough time sitting through the first half .The entire film had such a tacky look and also too many sub plots which got on my nerves.Felt like walking out in the middle itself.The interval point came as a big relief .
Yes ,the twist in the in...terval was also far from shocking .I could guess it the moment they showed Hema Malini-Sonu travelling in the same car .
Thankfully the post interval portions were much better .The emotional climax in the hospital did leave a mark .Even though the movie suffered from a strong 'Wanted' hangover in the second half ..
I loved all the scenes between Hema-Amitabh .They still make for a handsome couple.That scene with 'Tu Cheez Badi mast ' and 'Mere Naseeb ' playing simultaneously was hilarious!
Overall just an average movie! Strictly for die hard Amitabh fans only .
The least they could have done is to avoid the clash with Delhi Belly ..The movie is heading towards a disaster .Saw both the movies .DB was 100 % and this about 10% ..

Fantastic review as usual :)
Yes the original was far better but this one is not bad either .I think it was better than Ready at least .
Plot wise there is not much to look forward .It felt like Phir Hera Pheri revisited in the first half mainly.But the film has so many well executed moments t...hat its hard to dislike the film overall.
My fav scene has to be the one involving Gorilla .It was so so hilarious .And the very next scene (Ashish Chaudhary with a swollen lips) made me jump from my seat .Gorilla Ka Emraan Hashmee ...Ha ha..
Yup the climax felt like a hurried job .It seems they ran out of ideas at this juncture ..The impact definitely got diluted .
Now awaiting part 3 ..

Kal Kissne Dekha does not look promising at all.The film looks like a run of the mill product and gives a strong sense of deja vu .I wonder why Vashu is showing the same boring songs in the promos and not highlighting its story whi...ch is undoubtedly its USP as well .A man who is able to see the future .. I would be surprised if it takes anything more than 20 % start with small rise over the weekend and drastic drop from Monday onwards .Will add to a long list of flops from Vashu post Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hain .
Ya I do rembember the character of Qazi Saab from Black And White but did not know his real name till date .R.I.P.
I wonder why they are releasing Aa Dekhen Zaraa in multiplexes now .Quite a futile exercise .Its not that the film had released in single screens only .It did get released at independent multiplexes .Yet the collections were just 57 lacs in Mumbai in the first week with the overall business being less than 6 crore .It had a huge drop of 80 % in week 2 .Clearly hinting that movie was rejected big time by the audience .
Finally Love Aaj Kal looks interesting ..But can you tell who is that girl in the promo opposite Punjabi Saif ?She does not look like Deepika from any angle.

Cool review ..Agree with most of your choices .
Btw ,one mistake .KANK is not a flop .yes it was the most hated movie of this year given the terrible execution but still it was a hit .In fact it ranks at no 7 in top 10 with Dhoom 2 ,LRMB ,Krrish ,Fanaa ,RDB ,Don in that order ....

What a review .Read it twice /thrice .It was a perfect tribute to the gems of 2006 .Have seen all of them except .Being Cyrus .RDB indeed is the best movie of the year followed by Omkara .
Your list of headaches is pretty debatable though coz majority of them are huge success ..but again this is ...an elite list ..

Pretty cool review there.No doubt the movie is a treat to watch .It left me spellbound .
I did not really expect such an entertaining movie given the serious subject but it was a joyride and hought provoking as well especially the climax when Talib is shot dead by Pakistani's Army ...Also the do...nkey crossing the road was howlarious...
Great review as always .Dunno why Taran has given a low rating to this movie..

perhaps this is your first ever Bengali Movie review .Unfortuntely I am totally alien to the language ..And there is no way I could get the hold of DVD here .

yes ,could not agree more .I was really impressed by the trailors and must say the movie more than lived upto my expectations.perhaps both Affleck and Brody are at their best here .But the film clearly belonged to Diane Lane .she was just so hot and her performance was simply incredible .

Yes it looks like a typical Martin Scorsese product .Saw ' The departed' the other day and was pretty impressed with his direction .Will surely check this one out..

Cool review there .
Yes I have seen it online though print was not that good .Agree Al Gore is a major stubling block here .In fact it was more about him and less about the global warming ..
The movie was a refreshing change though with a hard hitting story . The use of lively animation only ...increased the impact..

Great to see you here .I am just so excited .Yes sorry for not being able to reply to last comment of yours .Even I am a student like you and had an exam immediately after Diwali . was not even allowed to touch the computer so visiting the site was a distant dream .And by the time it got o...ver ,the movie[JEM] was a history!
Yes ,the movie rocked big time though climax was a letdown .Music pales by a large degree in comparson to Dhoom 1.Well Bipaha's role was a joke .What the hell was Monali and Shonali .Abhishek is perhaps the only weak link .
Actually DHOOM 2 is my new beginning here in MS .I shall review each and every Friday release from henceforth .Be sure to comment on them ...

Yes ,this is one of the most entertaining movie of the year though climax could have been a lot better .Hrithik should not have changed at all .Also the music is not upto the mark .
But Yes , he was simply terrific and managed to steal the show from just about everyone .Abh...ishek looked pathetic in front of him .
