They often say India lacks in making good, solid stories centred around spies. In the past we've had stuff like Agent Vinod, Phantom, Ek tha Tiger and the likes, but apart from an occasional Baby, it has been a rather mediocre turn for desi cinema. Well, Raazi begs to differ! The story of ...Read more

First things first. I was not a fan of the first Baaghi. I failed to see it completely because its plot was silly, lame and a big bore. I understand it did well enough on the strength of its opening which was probably because of the foothold Tiger has developed in the action genre. However, it f...Read more

Given Rajkumar Hirani's enviable and foolproof track record of giving movies that enlighten and entertain at the same time, I had decided much before the film's release to watch it on the first day. I tried my best to stay away from social media takeaways on the film. But did Sanju live up to th...Read more

Back in 1968, Hollywood was still to witness the new wave of filmmakers that came and changed the equation of their popular cinema. Broadway theatrics gave way to noir, and filmmakers like Coppola, Scorsese, Brian De Palma and Kubrick found their groove. Among this new generation of filmmkers wa...Read more

Definitely worth a read. Gives a cleanpicture what travesty this movie might be (I haven’t heard of it ever, not that I’m not a movie fan!) Yes, they don’t make underworld films the way Verma used to. Or rather I say, very few want to walk that path, it being a forgotten genre.. apporva Lakhia, may...be. Those who do end up making inane stuff like Haseena Parker or this.Read More

This piece has been written with so much heart and positivity that it is an exquisite read for an early morning. Liked your style of sentence construction. Or how do i put it, your flow of words is “music” to the ears! Keep penning!

The old jaded clothes hung carelessly on the man's droopy shoulders. He had returned to the reservoir of memories after a very long time.
