I find it difficult to believe that Ford is still in business if this review were to be true and generic. I also find it difficult to believe that this guy has been travelling to Ford dealers in as diverse places as Madras and Ahmedabad and nobosy is able to fix his problems. If he has so much time ...and money, why doesnt he just go to the consumer court? he seems to have a hidden agenda possibly of promoting the Alto but he seems to have chosen a bad car to compare.Read More

In India interest rates are much higher than in the US, and a 3 percent return IS a bad one. If I have to get 3% returns, why dont i put my money in a savings account instead? The safety is still the same, but there is the added advantage of so much liquidity.

I too have bought this and am not happy with it. On the contrary I was thinking of going to consumer court but then the legal system here (lets not talk about it). The best part is the way they change the rules of the game. When I bought a membership, it was the second level of preference. Now su...ddenly they have introduced another level in between so we automatically become the third level preference customers! I'd advise staying away from it (to those who are considering buying this)Read More

nrpanchal and vivek, thanks for your comments. nrp, I am not looking for people to agree to my views, I have just put forth my own view. 'Rigid' is subjective, I can say the same about your comment. vivek, I never said the pilot's life was not important. I am not justifying the MIG failures ...in any way - all I am saying is: It is bad to pin the label on someone witout a complete investigation. The government, any government should go beyond what is currently being done there is no second opinion on that. But portraying this as a complete systemic failure is too negative, especially in the world's largest functioning democracy. When I gave the example that the government listened to the lady's views and corrected it's own, I was pointing to the fact the democracy is functioning - not like what is portrayed where people just get shot for voicing their opinion. This is not a china dammit. Please do not read it as an apology justifying the pilot's death. It is unreasonable to expect anyone, even the govt. to be correct all the time - what is important is to have the ability to correct mistakes and make sure they are not repeated. The director could have and should have made an attempt to inspire the youth without showing the government in such a negative way. The only message that is passed from this movie is that taking up arms and killing anyone in authority is the only option left to 'clean' the system. How about something more practical like 'Right To Information' instead?Read More
