Dont worry, they never had worthwhile faculty. They are like a one man show under a particular man from Rajastan who neither knows Physics nor to teach. If you did not withdraw your kid, then he would have been expelled since this Rajastani does not like to know about his incompetence. Putting your ...kid in Aakash is a mistake (like I did) and removing him from there is the best you did. Infact the best thing that Rajastani did to my ward is getting him expelled and now my ward is doing really well. Aakash is a waste. The proof of my comment is there in the results from Aakash. They claim 5390 qualified in JEE Main 2015 compared to 7622 the previous year. A drop of 30%. You should see that none of their classroom students have got more than 300 in the exam this year clearly showing they are no national level inst...itute of any worth. Also note that children doing correspondence tend to buy the material as additional stuff since the correspondence(DLP) course cost just about 20K compared to 2.5L for classroom course. So their claim in DLP is to be ignored. It can be agreed only if a student took only DLP and no other classroom course.
Now coming to the Bangalore centre. The results are pathetic. 174 is a JEE main mark that might atbest get a 30K rank with which you will not get REC Suratkal in Open Category even for Metallurgy!
Parents, my simple comment is
a. If you think your child is good enough for an engineering course via CET, why waste time and money on Aakash and other costly institutes. A last month refresher course on CET or even a Deeksha or BASE or BYJU will be good enough.
b. If you think your child is intelligent and a prodigy and can get in the first 10K ranks in the country. How do you find it? If your child gets consistently into second level (or say first 1000 ranks) in various olympiads like IMO, NSO, NSTSE etc then you can assume it. Better still if your child qualified in NTSE or KVPY or Govt Olympiads like RMO, JSO then he/she stands a shot at first 3000 ranks in JEE Main and Advanced. In such a case go to the leading brands like FIITJEE, Allen etc. If you dont mind child being tortured Narayana and Chaitanya can also be gone to.
In summary, the only stuff Aakash does in classroom course is bully the children to read for the next day. They dont teach as the teachers are hardly competent. In particular the Physics teacher and so called Head, is this year supposed to be shouting at children for the simplest of mistakes! Is it worth it?Read More

Please be clear about the fine print of all JEE coachers. Very often they are frauds. Aakash admitted my ward with an ANTHE scholarship of 80% and I assumed that it was fine for his JEE advanced pursuit.

I am amazed by the 'unpalatable and sick' comments on this forum about Ryan School. I can personally comment only about Ryan Kundanahalli. My son has studied from Mont II and is in X th this year. Honestly I have very little complaints about this school. As Vipin had said the positives are true
a. ...Transportation is excellent. I even told Prashanth (their Principal) that their buses are the lifeline of their school's success and my son has been travelling 9+km either way but is in great shape physically. He is a state level athletics champion...what else to complain!
b. Yes I realise that their uniforms are excellent though I never bothered about it till I read his comment.
c. Treating children equally is genuinely true. Infact when I admitted my kid in this school 12 years ago, it was not possible to meet the Principal of then, Cynthia but Hegde their administrative head was clear that they will admit farmer's children and karodpathis children (nowadays farmers are karodpathis but that is another story!). I liked that concept and I am sure I dont find monetary discrimination in Ryan. My financials dont define my son's treatment! That is genuinely great.
Regarding the various complaints
a. Hitting children does not seem to really exist beyond a pat or a pinch for the most terrible ones. Are parents expecting the school to tolerate their rich spoilt brats who beat up other children, destroy furniture and cause trouble. Even there the best I have heard is about the parents being called in to collect TC (which again does not seem to happen except in the worst of cases.)
b. Yes Pinto does utter some chants from the Bible when he comes, but I dont think the children are forced into Christianity or Bible reading. Infact my son could get his exams this year managed a bit as he had some religious function at home and his class teacher who helped in was a Muslim.
