Read my review to know more about Laxmikant-Pyarelal. My heart is full of LP's music. Indian media is biased. They do not want to promote LP's music...It is unfortunate for our culture...LPs music was totally Indian...but very sweet as well as melodious.

Ajay!! Really an excellent review.. I remember in 1973 the entire year it was 'BOBBY'..wherever you go. Songs, Dress..and 'Prem Naam Hai Mera Prem Chopra'. Can today's Music Directors create such Powerful Music, to carry the entire succes of the film, on its music in a manner Laxmikant-Pya...relal have composed in their films including 'BOBBY'.Read More

This is the perfact effect of how the media is biased. You have selected only those songs which are oftenly being aired on Indian Radio stations in India. I was surprised to see none of the songs of Music Directors Shankar-Jaikishan and Laxmikant-Pyarelal with whom Mohammad Rafi have sung m...aximum numbers of Super Hit and extremely melodious songs. I feel you really need to go into the depth of the songs of Kishor Kumar. I do agree with ajay55 that with Laxmikant-Pyarelal, Kishor Kumar have sung many more many hit and melodious songs. 'mere mehaboob quyamat hogi' is the personal favorite song of KK. Just for the information Kishor Kuma...r has sung as many as 400 + songs under the music director Laxmikant-Pyarelal...
