Count me among those for whom diesel is never an option (unless it's commom rail diesel). Indigo is a good VFM car; but if one wants to enjoy driving it's a big no-no. No pick-up, no power :-(

I too faced the same problem (of late fees) in my final payment; but when I called up their customer support, they were very willing to help and happily rolled back the late fees.

The rating this article is talking about is for the European Swift, which comes with curtain and side airbags. So these ratings aren't necessary the final word. \N

I fail to understand why Swift owners are so touchy abt any criticism of Swift. Guys grow up, and learn to take things in your stride. And Amit, for God's sake don't call Swift a sports car; even maruti's ad agency cud not have thought of it ;-)

Dear Melekhov, What the hell did u mean by 'How long have you been working for hyundai ??'. If somebody criticizes something you happen to like, you'll simply dis-credit him!!! I used to own a Zen till 20 days back, sold it to buy a Swift. But then Maruti increased it's price and the delivery time... was too much. I went ahead and bought a Getz GLS, and can say that it's a more refined and spacious product although not as good-looking and peppy.Read More

http://www.overdriveindia.com/Art_dtls.asp?page=4&tblname=tests&code=152 This link clearly says Discover beats Wind to the 80 kph mark, albeit the Wind faster to get to 60. cheers

I can't help but feel it is the classical case of sour grapes. If you had bought Wind only 3 months earlier, that doesn't make Discover a bad bike. Read reviews/road tests in any of the auto-mags; they are calling it the best thing ever happened to indian bikes. And for god sake, please please stop... calling Wind a performance bike, I am a big fan of the bike but I won't go as far as calling it a perf bike, it's a nice commuter but that's all.Read More

Hi, I beg to differ on this one. TISSOT is among the least expensive Swiss watches. All the other brands specified here are much more expensive than it.

I used to have a Samsung R220, bought just last year for 5500 bucks. My 1 year old daughter dropped it into water, I took it to the Samsung service center, spent 1500 bucks there, got it working. But after a week or two, it started creating problems, switching off intermittently, getting no sign...Read more

Well, Florentyne was Abel Rosnovski's daughter, not William Kane's. Her beau was a Kane, not an Rosnovski. I had read this novel abt 5 years back, and kinda liked it. In fact the third of triology 'Shall We ask the President' too is pretty decent.

This what one should expect from a non-bulleteer - a jap chap. Thunderbird isn't even a bullet (with gear-brake on wrong sides, gear lever like a 100 CC bike). No true blue bulleteer will dare to be seen on this piece of crap. I strongly believe REM mustn't compromise with their image, and try to m...ake bikes which aren meant for sissies. Bullets are meant for men, who draw pleasure from riding, not draw solace from nitty-gritties like mileage etc.Read More

Hi Folks! I purchased this object of desire 2.5 months back so that I can watch the World Cup on it, but alas it was not to be. Although it has more to do with a superstition of mine than anything else. When I purchased this TV, India-Newzealand series was going on, and all the matched whi...Read more

Hi Friends, I recently purchased a new flat in Delhi, and applied for home loan to ICICI bank (DSA - Metels, G.K. I). Little did I know that I am going to make the biggest mistake of my life. The DSA (Mr. Uppal) is a Ph.D. in making false promises, he promised me an interest rate of 9% for...Read more
