Sorry dear,no offence but certain international brands are far better than some of our local brands.Look i am an Indian.The only cosmetic i like that is Indian is Lakme foundation.May be you are right there because its hard to get a foundation that suits Indian tone in any other international brnad ...but i might have to say eventhough the colour is great, i still think the texture and consistency of the foundations like dream matte mousse(maybelline) or max factor is much better.There are several other perks like the international brands bieng non comedogenic,oil free and everything if you know what i am talking about.Even skin care is at its best.It was only after i found neutrogena ,i got my acne problem under control.I use St.Ives scrub and my husband testified for the product saying that i get shiny beautiful skin after the scrub.There are no better soaps than Dove and no better lotions than dove.Hair care , i love pantene.and about not every wanting moisturiser you are wrong.
Look, everybody's skin differs and one creme or thing that is suited for one may not go well with some other.Some makes a woman's skin glow which on the face of some other person may cause break out.You wife might have just used something that is not suitable for skin.that is why they leave a warning to dicontinue use if something happens.
But there are two Indian brnads i would gie thumbs up to
