all u ppl seem to have taken an intense liking to this ad, ha well as they say 'to each his own'. theres nothin in the world tht u ppl can say that can make me like the ad, but hehe thats just cos im very stubborn :). and by the way mr sachindra.... who the hell do u think u r???? let me tell ...u very frankly that any opinion i give on this site is with my emotions and feelings fully behind them. i dont believe that i want to appear like a fake, and this umbrella approach works only when u r tryin to appear unbiased, but my dear man im not unbiased... i review only things i like or dislike... if i dont have any emotions abt it i dont review it... so u can take this and stuff it in ur hat, kindly keep ur stuffy opinions to urself... and dont try and get holier than thou with me u hear. ciya abhiRead More

hey pavi gr8 review as usual, but i have to say that the channel does have its faults and they are very obvious. 1 it is highly biased and that causes the interviews to seem a lil pointless. 2 rajdeep sardesai, is one of the most impolite tv news reporters in the world, he has absolutely no ma...nners whatsoever. and also he has grown too pig headed for his good, he fights pointlessly, and the worst of all he interrupts the people all the time, it is very annoying. but all said and done, prannoy roy is still india's best news reporter, he is to the point and charming. nice review again ciya abhiRead More

There are few books, which can so beautifully capture how a few individuals can corrupt an ideal. George Orwell who has written the highly acclaimed ‘1984’ wrote this book in 1943 during the Second World War and this book is based in a farm in England. The story talks about a revolut...Read more

All cricket fans unite. Let us burn down Asian Paints, or at least the people who designed this ad. nice review...tho a bit revealing, i knew i cudnt trust u to keep the story in thats y u had to wait soooo long after u wrote the review to actually hear frm me (i kno tht u simply must be thrilled to see that i have indeed finally read ur review), i had to actually read the book first didnt i. ...but u know actually i believe tht the long wait and the hype actually didnt help the fans actually appreciate the book, i felt quite disappointed with the end in which that person dies and then that other person reveals the secret of that thing (hehe not bad huh, learnin frm u), i felt it lacked the intensity that goblet of fire's ending had... the intensity of the battle with voldemoet in the 4th book was simply awesome, that was somehow lackin in this new installment. but the book was still quite great and was a treat to read... j k rowling even with less intensity still churns out an awesome novel :) ciao abhi Read More

while agreeing with much of what u say i stil disagree that this system has clicked, when u say that indians are doin well in the us, u r only touching the tip o the iceberg dhanush, while i completely agree with you that we as engg. are a mighty lazy bunch, still i also happened to mention that onl...y 10% come out actually with some info. and it is this same 10% that goes on and does well abroad. i never said that we indians dont have the capability to do a lot more, infact we are superlative at back breaking labour of both the mind and the body, but the system just does not tax the right parts. there is too much emphasis on nonsense, speaking of subjects i completely agree that we should know that certain subjects exist but they can be addon subjects without exams, when these subs are taught only as extra, or maybe for extra credit...then we get the additional advantage of having done these subjects(subjects like dsp are simply not subjects that a student can do in one sem and give it justice, i know i just wrote a paper for it 10 days back) hey spooks i disagree, it is our duty to fight for these kind of thoughts to be implemented, these fat louts up in the education ministry are so concerned about keepin docs, and engg. out of the civil cervices that they are'nt the least bothered with what the students are learning. but still somethings have to improve or this system is gonna blow up in their faces, cos the quality of the engg. has seriously dropped, just talk to any of the recruiting officers that come to the campuses, they all mention that the students just dont know the basics. abhiRead More

whether this play will come to pune is the only thot running thru my mind right now. the other thot is after reading the comment by pavan, that any person could be so obtuse to the condition which half the population is living in, shocks the living daylight out of me. subjugated and subjugator... indeed..snort....what nonsense. we are not talking about some perverted sexual fantasy here but hard realities, while there are i am sure many ppl who desire to be commanded by others, an overwhelming percentage of the rest just have no choice in the matter. they are married of at a young age and then kept under the thumb of their husbands and their family for the rest of their lives(this is in india). wheres the matter of choice in this arrangement i wonder??? and abroad especially in the US the problem of rape is growing day by day, and this is not happening to men, but to women, by subjugated i wonder if u mean that the women raped are asking for it??? i seriously hope pavan will write another comment here and let us know more bout his thots. back to the review, mc brilliant... u advised me to see it but i didnt realise what exactly it was u were asking me to check out. i surely shall try and see this whenever i get a chance. chow abhiRead More
