lovely review. i sooo know wat u mean abt the fact that old is gold. @ least in the olden days there was variety & each serial had a diff theme but now a days every Krap show is the same. it makes u nauseas & in spite of 400+ channels, i still find myself saying i am bored cos i have nothing to watc...h.Read More

we were thinking of buying pueit. but after reading ur experience i am very hesitant. that too we r also from chennai. i wonder if u can tell me from which shop u bought the piece?

i am from chennai & the big bazaar here is pretty good. 1st of all, it is just 1 big floor. so no climbing up & down. there is a food court outside & parking is a breeze. they even refund your parking ticket money. people are helpful, prices are competitive, stock is good (even their fur...niture section etc), they come up with good exchange offers etc.the only problem is that like you said there are no signs or maps to guide u around. but when you visit it 2 to 3 times u get the hang of it. the WORST problem that u have to put up with is that u have to continuously put up with a screeching irritating voice that goes on announcing the special offers without a break. there is no peace & quiet at all. if they shut up then shopping is great. would recommend if u have lots of items to purchase but for less than 5 items its better u go to u r local grocer.Read More

i have to agree with j_jayashri. i cant believe that you don't like darma & Greg. in my opinion i feel that instead of people wasting time on silly exaggerated saas bahu serials in which women keep plotting against each other, they can at least start to bring a smile on their face with this serial. ...while it is not 'clutching your stomach in pain - funny', it is definitely sweet. i am sure anybody can see how much in love both of them are with each other. dharma is like a child cos she is so spontaneous. i am sure if we all look into ourselves or around us we will find that all of us had that part in us as children but lost it when we grew up. now a days people have forgotten how to have fun in life spontaneously. i am sure that around you there will be people who are mature in life but not boring. also i did not find any offensive references made to the Indian culture. if you read about how people grew up in the 70's you will find that everyone believed in karma & peace. after all even the Beatles came to India to learn about it. so all of you who have read this review & been turned off towards the serial, i strongly recommend that you keep an open mind & watch it at least once. it is def better than all the ekta kapoor serials. if not very funny, u will at least go to bed with a warm fuzzy feeling.Read More

i have to agree with you. this show is hilarious & i loved the acting & the fake accents & all. infact my friends would never get the joke but i would find it pretty funny. 'smitha smitten - showbiz kitten - miaow', the coopers (kapoors) etc were some of the memorable characters. later on kumar at n...o 42 was introduced, but i hated it. after you got used to this serial, the other one just seemed crude & a cheap copy. i wish they would start showing reruns of this again instead of 'kumar....'Read More

i have seen this serial in 2000 - 2001. i liked the 1st few seasons more than the later serials where they all looked older & the serial dragged. it wasnt so funny anymore. but i do have to say that the way u have described each character in detail is good. if i was seeing this thing for the 1st tim...e, i would have understood the personality of the characters immediately. so keep it up,.Read More

i am yet to read the original article, but i so agree with you about the plight of a girl child in this world. i am lucky to have been born into a good family & in a good community, & i dont wish that even my worst enemy undergo some of the horrible troubles that GIRLS undergo.
