Good food generally results in a good body. Now, a good body could also mean a slightly heavier body than what all of us would like to have. At times, we, as mere mortals, are tempted to get that perfect belly/body/physique and we end up using the internet and other sources to get a solution....Read more

I, unfortunately, went to this much hyped, famed brewery yesterday evening with 9 of my friends who are all decent foodies. None of us are the "just out of college, oblivious to the world" kinds. Unfortunately, I had been to the place this afternoon with 2 of my friends. The place itself looks dingy and the hand wash bucket kept above a broken manhole indicates the amount of carelessness by the owner who doesn't bother to install a basic wash basin with a tap and soap. There was an extrem...Read more

Dakshin Honda and Whitefield Honda are known for their unwanted gimmicks, poor sales experience and even worse maintenance capabilty. Please think twice before you trade a Maruti for a Honda especially in Bangalore. I would suggest you look at a different brand altogether.

Hi There, The Indigo CS, like all the others have mentioned, is certainly a very good value for money car. The DICOR engine is the one I would choose if I were you. In fact, if a large boot is not in your mandatory requirements, then go for the Indica Vista Quadrajet. It is several notches above ...the CS and is also better than a lot of hatches in the market. All the best for your purchase and pl feel free to get back in case of more questions.Read More

Tough luck buddy, but nevertheless, there is no point in getting disheartened. It happens. Now, since you have set your mind on a second hand bike, the best place to begin looking for one in my view is as under: 1. Start with the people you know and check if they know someone who is selling a bike.... This generally ensures a good and reliable deal. 2. Purchase FREE ADs and AD MAG on a Sunday and then call the sellers who have advertised their bikes, go to their places and inspect the bike with a mechanic if you are not sure of the technicalities. 3. Go to a trusted mechanic (Maybe the one who serviced your older bikes) and ask him to help you in finding a good piece. Alternatively you too could post an ad free of cost on these very effective news papers. 4. If nothing works, then try going to JC Road and places nearby which have a huge used bike market but beware, there are more thugs than businessmen out there. Since you have not mentioned your budget and your requirements, I do not think it is prudent to suggest the brand or the class of bike you should go for. Take care and feel free to revert,Read More

Drmajit, Car prices vary across the country due to state specific octroi, transportation and other taxes including the RTO charges and MH is among the costliest states in India to buy a car from. That is the reason for the price difference you have observed. Hope this answers your query.

Just what I was looking for dude, you did it. Tata indeed has given us a bombshell of a car in the Indica Vista Quadrajet. I was planning to buy it but I really wanted to check out its performance with the Dragon Performance Kit by someone prior to my purchase. A very good write up about the boost... in the performance and the behaviour of the car at such high speeds. Keep updating us and keep up the good work.Read More

It is a good deal and the Matiz is a very competent car in the city as well as on the highways. As the others have mentioned, just get in touch with a good spare parts store so that you need not hunt for spares. Enjoy your car and drive safe.

To begin with, I have owned Yamaha and Honda/Hero Honda bikes before I purchased a bullet. I have ridden my bullet all over the country more than once and have never come across the following points mentioned in your review: Vibrations beyond 80 kph. If your bullet vibrates, please have the engin...e mounts and the handlebar/forks checked along with the suspension by a good local mechanic. Spare Parts: I have had one instance of my bullet's alloy rim cracking at a very small place in M.P. and I was easily able to source an old rim from a very small bike repair shop. Also, since the Bullet Std/Electra have not changed much since their initial days, spare parts are easily available throughout the country. Weight: Please understand that the bullet is a long distance motorcycle as you have mentioned.Long distance bikes need to be stable under varied road conditions and riding styles, which is why all cruisers the world over are heavier compared to sports bikes or street bikes. Trip Meter: Cruisers are meant to trigger the charm of old world biking with no modern paraphernalia attached. Many Harley owners even remove the speedo and fuel guages. Vibrations when idling: You should feel only the thump and a slight vibration between your legs where the engine is. If it is greater than this please have it checked. Thump: It is possible to get pretty close to the old thump by replacing your stock silencer with the short bottle silencer easily available. Reliability: Bullets are known for their reliability which is why most travellers and tourers use them all over the country. Yes, the older CB point models did have a few concerns but most of them have been sorted out. Also, reliability depends on your maintenance which doesnt seem to be very good looking into the issues mentioned by you. Contd.... Read More
