Truly the winner was SVOI of Punjab and Haryana. Ishmeet has soft voice and can be a king in soft numbers...but does he deserve to be winner? Toshi, Irfan and Abhaas were the best. Harshit was better than Ishmeet. These 2 finalists seemed to have the confidence only when they reached the finals. Har...shit never had a smile, Ishmeet always seemed to be low in confidence. The system of public voting also goes above my head.. There was north, south, east and west India..what happened to internet and international votes?? Can any one explain? For the first time I felt let down by Gajji. I have a huge respect and regards for him.. Hope this does not happen in next edition.Read More

Hey Paul, Bur Dubai had fair share of celeberations with yelling of Chak De & crackers as well! :) Sure you cant compare with ecstacy in India. Here we saw group of young indian kids shout n enjoying the win while 2 pathans had sorrow on faces. India Pak cricket match does get patriotic feeling ...aroused..even UAE had asian expats desert work & glued to tv sets. Great review...let us cherish this win... HI Anir, sure agree that certain incidents could be best avoided esp. open humiliation of those who are marked as legends... There sure is bound to be differences in terms of ranking, marks and elimination. It would be best to set your views without bias and not indulge in war of words... As for AVO...I, they have set a bench mark in terms of selection. But alas again conflicts between the judges... Alka Yagnik left the show!!Read More

Indian Idol 3

This season, the singers are far better than earlier seasons. Indian Idol 3 does have 11 good singers going for gala round. It was never the case with previous 2. I do agree that winners be it Abhijeet or Sandeep ..they are heading no where.. except perhaps for the stage shows they get.
