Hi Kaprabhu First of all there is no OFF position of the fuel tap in eliminator.the positions are ON,RES & PRI. on the first two its an automatic system but when you switch it to PRI it becomes manual and this comes handy if you have to drain the tank or if the petrol in ON is finished and you can ...put it on PRI for a few seconds and then switch to RES. I have had the eliminator since oct 2001. It has done about 14000km since I have other vehicles also which I use regularly (Maruti 800, Bajaj KB 100 and BSA 350).
