look at where india is today compared to other countries which obtained independence from the british.india is much ahead of pakistan,banglade...sh,burma and all the african countries.in fact it is going on to become one of the super powers of the world.i agrre there r some negative features which u have mentioned,but the positive ones more than overshadow them.look at the cultural diversity,the intellectual capital,the variety of flora and fauna,the hard working ppl in all stratas of society and u will come to know what i mean.as for the defence , forces,there is nothing we can even write about themthey have proved their bravery and patriotism a no. of times in various wars and other calamities which have struck india.so my dear friend,please have an open view of things and try to be more pleasant.Read More
