Be it car or twowheelers . the competition is very stiff these days. The sales team has to be very aggressive. We leave a days work and go to these showrooms to check the bikes. If the guys deny to show the bikes. It only shows the maturity on how the show is managed. If they. Hope you have a great ...time and good miles ahead with your new bike. I have given the same review at Yamaha website but guys have not reverted. I thought they are very aggressive with the recent recalls. No Indian bike manufacturers have ever done that. So went to check. But its the same old story. Gone are the days of old chetak. If the company still in that mind set then their product will simply not sell.

Any s**t sells in India. Be it Maruti or TATA. People buy flimsy tin cans produced by Maruti. Dezire sells in thousands. People here need space and that s a big factor.

Only about 4 channels are HD., 1. DiscoveryHD 2. NatGeo 3. DD HD (useless) 4. StarCricket HD ( available only during worldcup) 5. TravelXPHD ( new channel).
Other channels are not HD as advertised. The quality of other channels is comparatively similar to a standard definition t...ranmission. Which means there is no real advantage of a HDSet top box. This is as good as watching a Black&White movie on a colour television.
325 package will not give you HD channels. You need to add HD package which costs a total of Rs. 450/-.Read More

Day2: SunNetwork goes missing. It gives me a message which says ' you donot have sufficient balance'. I tried to call up the customer service, and they ask me to keep the settopbox 'ON' for 2 hours.
I would certainly give it a shot & see what happens next.

Its sad to know that many of you have had issues with this specific mode & HP did NOTHING about it. I was first to have this issue and have noticed here at MouthShut March2008 so people could be more cautious on buying laptops those are less reliable.
HP still sells laptops bundled with defective N...VIDIA chipsets. Defective series to watchout before you buy is are as follows: Nvidia 6200, Nvidia 8200M, Nvidia 9400. Technically I would say that donot purchase a laptop bundled with Nvidia because of 'Packaging Defect',
The last thing a service centre would do on your laptop is to change the motherboard.One must be very cautious while getting this done.Reason: You would only get a REFURBISHED ONE. Meaning: A Refurbished MotherBoard is/may be a faulty reserviced one. This can end up in hell of problem s.
While HP told me that they were getting the Motherboard replaced., I personally told goodbye to HP. As soon as the laptop came out of the service centre., I sold it off. --otherwise it would be a hell of issues again.
Only sad thing about it is., This costed me Rs.20000/-. (money that I had lost during this buy/sell business.)

I am one happy person to write this review now. Over twelve days ., I have my laptop withme. The wireless issue is finally fixed and everything now looks okay. The service centre had the motherbaord and Broadcom Wireless card replaced.
However I had to go the service centre in Indiranagar., an ove...rcrowded place and with many customer with similar issues. During this visit I got ticked for parking my bike in 'noparking' area in front of the service centre. (Never park your bike that as its noparking :) )
They also asked me to upgrade the warranty on my laptop for 2years by paying ~Rs.7000/-. I think its overpriced when compared to mac., where the system worth is Rs.70K and 2 years warranty upgrade costs me Rs.7K.
Anyways ,. Hope that I will not have any issue with this baby again.
