My father was admitted in the hospital for operation of PTBD. Though initially the doctor told it would be 99% successful and they were successful also to a certain extent but not that which they earlier promised . But the hospital is a functioning in a very commercialised fashion. It burns a hole i...n your pocket. I had a medical insurance which i was given on the second day . So i had to deposit an initial amount of 10000. My entire bill was paid by mediclaim but they refused to give my earlier deposit 10000 saying that this 10000 is for CCTV installed for hospital protection,Gloves, etc etc which were all baseless. A 13 year old girl admitted beside my father's bed was billed 7 lacs for a jaundice case. Be careful if you go to Apollo . U never know when , how much and for what they will pick pocket you.
