just to answer what desi popcorn asked, Once you have the card, closing it is really a nightmare. I have instances of friends who had the card, have paid up (after talking to the helpline) and closed the card, yet they still get statements showing some balance, and they still get umpteen calls a m...onth from uneducated call centre employees who do not know the meaning of the word service or decency, so even after closing, you are still in a vicious cylce trying to get rid off it. They are frauds, an example is when I applied for an SBI Railway Card, (online application from a web advert) I got a Bangalore card. when I objected I was told the Railway Card was not a credit card but only for booking railway tickets. I found this to be a lie. Of course there is no hard proof beyond what I am saying, but then this is how they cheat you. You will be forced to pay money, yes. For example, I paid up according to my last statement, on the 4th of April, for a payment due on the 28th of April. I was to pay 1015, I paid 4,000. Promptly on the 15th of the month, I was getting 15 calls a day asking me to pay more money. Bunch of bastards they are !Read More

If I started writing an honest review on this product, I could fill pages, however, I would like to explain very briefly a few points. Before I do so, let me warn all of you, NEVER go in for an SBI CC when there is a choice of so many, much better cards. The card has no pros, only cons: If I cou...Read more

Was just wondering, since you raised the topic of excess usage above the limit. If you have a heavy download / upload usage, what kind of a limit should one go for - I guess 1 GB would be far too small in that sense. What do you think

Hi ! thanks for your review. I have a friend who also invested a lot of money in a Blau punkt system only to find it did not function from day 1. When he contacted sales and service they had only one reply 'Its because of Indian Roads'. they might as well stop selling their equipment here if it d...oesnt work. This is one person who is looking for a car stereo and definitely is not going to look anywhere near BlaupunktRead More

Good review Sandeep, I have the same TV and it took me around 2 min of looking at all the comparitive sets to choose the Philips. The remote functionality is superb, though the instrument is very delicate. I didn't even know that it had surround speakers until I had to return to the dealer to pick ...up (yes you guessed right) my remote as the one they had given me was an old one and a showroom piece), which was when he asked me if I had received my speakers. No problems with the TV, just wish it had progressive scan. I don't know if you had a similar problem, but if you use the YBR cable with the 727 K to the TV, the colors all appear with a greenish tint, and lose their originality. Is there some setting I have been placing wrong ? I have gone back to the single input into my TV for the video......Read More

You have not mentioned the price or indicative price anywhere - that would be enough to put off most price conscious shoppers.

Well, you would be happy to know that Axe does have a range of shower gels, which are really very very cool, and made me believe in aromatherapy, they really relax you - yet to see them in India though. I have been told by a friend of mine (A girl) that Axe does work, but obviously not in the way ...that is shown in the ads. My favourite is Africa. But if you like perfumes, Jovan Musk is my favourite, because after you start sweating, it mixes to form a very distinct masculing smell.Read More

HDFC is the best (Arguably) bank in India where it counts most. I have been banking with them since 2001. I have had reasons to be dissatisfied, but maybe unnecessarily. Network HDFC Bank has a great network and far reach, for a private sector bank. Of course they would not have the reach ...Read more

I agree with Cheryl, definitely not one of his best. It is easy to get through, and as usual his scientific research is pretty good, and gives you a glimpse at the possible future of nano technology. Non Chrichton fans can avoid this one
