I believe Nissan has been recalling all the Sunny and MIcra models because of some problem with the break.

Your experience is horrible. I just hope I don't have to go through the same - my Nissan Sunny is now 5 days in service center because of minor oil leakage issue. While at the service center I noticed customers paying cash but it did not strike me that the company might not be accepting cards.

Hi all,
Does anyone know if there is any reading variation between glucometer and the testing done in a lab? When you say the reading is ''accurate'' on what do you base your assumption of accuracy? especially since the lab testing is very different from the photo metric method used in glucometers....
I'm on the verge of buying a glucometer for myself but am concerned about faulty reading especially since the cuff type Casio Digital Blood pressure meter I use gives results that have ZERO percent accuracy and fluctuates widely.Read More

I can't say I agree with your assessment. I have been purchasing from flipkart for over two years now and the delivery is always extraordinarily prompt. I normally receive the books within a maximum of three (3) days.

If the contrast ratio is 5000:1 or thereabouts it is good enough. 50000:1 is more of a gimmicky than real. Manufacturers use different methods of calculating contrast ratio.
The new fad is “higher the better” This is similar to the sound system ads that used to appear a few years back where in, th...e viewers were made to believe that higher sound output (e.g. 1500W) was better. In reality it just produced more noise. It is the total package that counts.
Response time should be low (ideally less than 8ms) this reduces blurring effect when watching action scenes. Viewing angle should as high as possible (if you have a large family). Ultimately however, the real test is going to be your own eyes and ears. Always buy from a show room. Check the TV using DTH as well as DVD. Ensure the same channel is being shown on all models. Dealers often connect the TV to DVD players and use high definition quality movies. While this does bring out the true potential of the TV, it does not match reality i.e. We use the TV primarily to watch programmes from DTH/cable and occasionally view VCD/DVD’s.Read More

I have a similar experience with the Eureka Forbes vacuum cleaner purchased in 1995. The product continues to work very well however; it requires special dust bags which are only available with the Eureka Forbes authorized center.
I live in Goa. Believe it or not, there is only one Eureka Forbe...s authorized center in the entire state of Goa. It does not take a genius to realize that the entire population of Goa will not be living in and around that one center.
How does Eureka Forbes expect its customers to travel from one end of the State to another just for a pack of dust bags?
I fully agree with Arvind, avoid any Eureka Forbes product - it's just not worth it.Read More

Tata took over the DSL company (early 2000). DSL failed because their technology failed. They charged too much and failed to deliver. Under tata, it is one of their group companies and not much has changed. The service is the same.
Problem with DSL is that it relies... on physical wire from their server to your house. Enroute, there are n number of boosters that relie on electricity from whichever building they are on. If the electricity of that building fails then all connections downline fail.
Also, sometimes, little kids go up on the terrace and disconnect the DSL line. (Innocent game - they don’t reliaze the effect). These then are the practicle difficulties of administering DSL in our country.
While wireless internet is available, it is not one-on-one meaning, it is shared connection. So while people sleep you get good bandwidth on a wireless.
In my personal view you should switch over to BSNL/MTNL broadband if available and also have a low-volume plan wireless internet connection for standby. By the way, the value of your review will improve if you can inform us the location of this connection - so that people in that area are aware of the problem.
