Almost my opinion about the movie, especially the thing about Raam's odd behaviour..it seems the dir. wanted it that way for no reason..that chanting scene(which everyone went onto praise) was the real irritant. But i thought Saranya did her job fairly well... Overall a grossly overrated movie.

Basha n Karagaatakaaran in the list...that's the disappointment..otherwise IMO u have done a great job in reminding us all the great dialogues in tamil cinema.

When i read ur M2M, I wondered wat you were doing in 'Personal grooming'...i have never been a fan of reading tips on personal grooming...still i came here hoping that i could pick a tip or two to groom myself..But wow..u had something else in store..great article. Keep penning.

This is the first revu am reading on this film. I didn't expect muxch from this film.Thought that this one will be some mushy, cheesy love film, going by it's posters in the city.Ur revu tells otherwise..must watch soon.

You have given a very good rating to the album, and has written a positive review on it...agreed,but why on earth u don't recommend it to friends? Was it a mistake?

Hi dude,as usual you have written a comprehensive revu...feels good to know that Harris has given something worthy unlike his recent below average junks..yet to hear the album(except Kaadhal Yaanai)...other than that I fully agree with your opinion abt Shankar-ARR-Harris.Surely Shankar will miss ARR...,and i too feel Shankar has never extracted the best of ARR,but he has always extracted the stuff needed for his grand style of film making. But it must have been a lot of pressure on Harris..surely he cannot match ARR in quality as well in his understanding of Shankar's needs.Read More

A revu after a long time...good analysis of the movie...,though this is just a timepass film, you have written a well-analysed one on it..expecting your take on the Tamil New Year menu.

Hi Murali..thanx for ur rating and comment.I too feel that the director intentionally left the script to be interpreted in both the ways..one is ghost/spirit stuff, other one is split-personality stuff...snake's role may be applicable in the ghost interpretation..good observation dude. BTW ur music ...reviews rock high....keep up.Read More

Nice review,i was waiting for a review to come up on this much awaited album..have heard only a song 'Kaadhal Yaanai' ,i think that song was no great shakes with it's odd cacophonies and lot of gibberish lyrics, here and there it has 'Sariya Thavara' from 12B hangover too.Going by the lyrics i guess ...that must be Vikram's intro song,he may be flexing his body, smiling to gals etc in that but musically pretty mediocre stuff. Great to know that you also have the same opinion about the movie..Yeah Jyothika performed really well in the movie, but the mags and some sites classified it as 'award-winning performance',etc..Jo justified the role so well, but the role by itself may not make it to award levels,IMO. That's the thing... i tried to make there.Otherwise the same opinion as yours..Jo rocked the show.Read More

Tamil filmdom's celebrated 'SuperStar' returns back with his 'Chandramukhi'.The movie as expected has garnered a good collection, going by the response and reviews,it seemed that this movie is not just a 'Super star' material, but offers something that a Rajini movie has not offered till now...so ...Read more

What a weird revu,...ppl somehow want to bash Rahman, and it's their sick idea of showing that they are intellectuals down from heaven listening to seraphic music..the name of Rahman in the list by itself is unjustified and atrocious..having his name in the top when ppl like NS are down shows that u... wanted just to stir up...anyway ..remaking his own tamil to Hindi music is 'lifting'??? better visit www.itwofs.com for the list ..ARR has the least allegations. Having south Indian flavor seems to be a problem for u..ha haa..South India has given birth to some real greats like Maestro IlayaRaja, ARR ...if your ears aren't trained to listen to it..go check a doc.. cos South has an ocean of great music...anyway senseless creatures can't understand it..so that must explain this revu..i guess Better have your brains intact while typing things in the name of reviews...or atleast mentioning names of real greats.Read More

Agreed dude..am still left with no clues how people are able to lap up such a senseless trip,i would rather suggest this movie for school kids who are in their summer holidays. .those high flying chases,horse,monkey..crane for kidnapping are not acceptable as ingredients of a Kamal comedy....MX is ...just a Cartoon strip.Read More

Glad to know your opinion abt the movie, hope you have read mine. Though the movie brings some laughs,i personally felt that this pales in comparison with Kamal's earlier ones, they were solid intelligent comedies and can evoke laughter even after repeated viewings..MX just falls flat in that aspect o...f a memorable comedy.Much of the film looked like something straight out of some comic strip for me ...anyway opinion differs. And abt IR's BGM..he is capable of doing much more..the fact that he has used the song bits into BGMs, clearly shows that he has not alloted sufficient time and care into it.Read More

Am pretty late to comment here..agreed with your list of unsung music directors. But talking about Sirpi...that guy's 'Ullathai All thaa' is a landmark album..means almost all the songs were copied ones..'Azhagiya laila' was a ditto...,yeah ditto copy of Egyptian Singer Hisham Abbas's 'Ahla me feki'....If u hear the original..you will know..it will sound as if it's a dubbed version of this. The orchestration ,hummings everything is completely copied.Read More
