It hardly matters whether java is good or not ... its not worth trading on any software that runs java period. the best trading application is one on your desktop and one that is extremely fast. Unfortunately IB software is not good and if you don't have their desktop application java applets are re...al pain to work with for trading. I have been trading for a long time now and i absolutely abhor java based trading programs. I have tried a lot of brokers. ;) so trust me when i tell ya java and trading just don't make sense atleast not daytrading.
