In a way, even I have traversed the path and faced the responses from ICICI. In addition, I have faced one more issue - I have taken a top up loan with them. Ethically, FRR/PLR needs to be same for both the loans (Home loan and top up loan) and in actual they charge, 1.) 15.5% for home loan ...and adding a variance of -2.75% made it 12.75% 2.) 13.5% for top up loan and adding a variance of -0,75% made it 12.75% When I ask them why this difference? I get vague replies!!! Would request all to stay away from ICICI for home loans (If you are taking a fresh loan) and for the ones who are already with them - God save us!!Read More
