Hello Medha,
I love train travel to air travel just for the sheer adventure of the journey. I acknowledge that the hygiene standards and the service levels have improved drastically , but i donno about this train. They really treat this train as a stepchild of Indian Railways. Everytime you trave...l on it, the more sorry you feel for yourself.
REgarding the slowness of the trains, trainsof today are allowed to run 120kmph on certain routes, but the unnecessary stops they have to make, makes you wonder when your destination will arrive.

I enjoyed your list. It was a sincere effort for you to put those songs in your list and looking at the range of songs, I indeed beleive that, you must have spent a lot of time on it. All the songs indeed have top class picturization. I am with you on that list.

Nice to hear from you.
As a management guy, I know it is a difficult proposition to write on CREATIVELY on general management. In Arindams book i find that there is CREATIVITY in presentation but not in the CONTENT.
Regarding the autobiography part, I think one is too young ...to write an autobiography of a managment guy at 30. So at the best i can understand that is the knowledge he has assimiliated but not necessarily it has passed the test of time.

Damn informative capsule on the KING. I quiet agree with you when KING batted, it dealt a psychological blow to the opponents.
During the era when he was there, the world had seen a best battery of fast bowlers of all times in world cricket. To kill the likes of Thomsons,... Lillies, Kapil, Imran, Bob Willis, Hadlees was no mean achievement.
His royal attitude, no-fuss nonchalance, gum chewing mouth and his gritty eyes
reminds me of a deadly and lethal weapon loaded to be fired!!!

No wonder ... i was always a disaster in school, college or anything to do with education. !!:D
Jokes apart....Education is what you do most from the oppportunities that you have been provided in the educative environment. And hence it is individual... perception of what shud be done in college.
I had friends, who thought was college was a fashion show and students were model walking on the ramps around.
5 years later all are doing pretty well for themselves ....
But the point is that they defied every thing you have mentioned in the suggestive list... :D...
I guess this is life.:D

where did you get the tartare steak recipe from? You forgot to cook it J(e)Di. :D or if you di...d not forget then i suggest you cook it and see the differnece. The tangy tartare is the ideal foil to the juicy and braised steak. I woud suggest you have your steak medium or well done. ...
Raw sardines not only sound dangerous.. but seem to me as good techniques at torture camps:D

Maddy,
This indeed is a a nice movie. Although i being Maharashtrian, have seen only couple of Marathi movies. But this movie is really a well told and acted script. The climax of the film is indeed the highlight of the film.
Your review was damn nostalgic as i recollected this movie.I liked t...he review and especially the intro..was good!

Man i enjoyed his batting.. He is able to concentrate so well and is tottally lost in the game. THat makes him differnt from others.
THe agressive attitude is well balanced by his focussed personality as you had mentioned with his simple joys in life.
