Hi, The damages stated in the review seems to be not intentional, but due to fog this has happened so it is come under owner damage due to nature problems. As per IRDA all insurers are required to treat all unintentional damages as accidents. Pl insist insurer to consider claim if no reply from insur...er or reply not satisfied, complain to the insurance ombudsman.Read More

Hi,This is very much true as far as loans & services concerned, I have given loan application with all documents against assignment of two policies in the morning in the last month,to my surprise loan amt. was credited to my bank account same day. where as previously lic may take 7 to days for disbu...rsal. Even for maturity claims policy holder get intimation well in time before due date to submit claim form with required enclosures so that amount will be credited on due date w/o any delay. In my opinion LIC is best one for every ones insurance though benefit is little less.Read More

Hi,As per procedures followed if hospitals recommends inpatient treatment to avoid spread to others based on asymptomatic conditions, then only option is admission to hospital isolation & treatment based on covid19 test report with positive ones. If policy is renewed or issued policy in 2020 &if insu...red found with positive after 15 days from dt of issue of policy & hospitalized insurer has to accept claims as per IRDA guidelines since renewals & fresh ones are inclusiveof higher premiums. Only question is whether insured is symptomatic or asymptomatic to decide the claim. You may insist insurer to reconsider rejected claim on basis of covid19 test report.Read More

Hi, In case of ped condition declared at the time of proposal, which will not be covered for 2/3/4 years & if treatment for kidney & for others &if hospital discharge & treatment charts indicates as ped before issue of policy that will also not covered at all & policy liable to be terminated for non ...disclosure. Further if your case is not ped one insurer cannot say that due to blood pressure treatment arises without any documentary proof. Bp is in no way cause for kidney treatment, but it may leads to heart, peralisis, brain strokes etc,if high bp is there patient survival is very difficult. Now if you are confident that there are no conditions of ped at the time of proposal, how insurer has issued the policy after medical check up & what prepolicy health condition says are all impartent ones & insist insurer to accept the claim or else approach insurance ombudsman for claim.Read More

Hi,If claim papers are in order &ok,insurer has to settle the claim within 15 to 30 days or reject the claim giving specific reason in writing or by email or by sms. If claim is rejected approach customer grievance cell, they have to look in to the matter & infmn their decision within 30 days,if not ...satisfied from their response only option is to approach cpa forum or insurance ombudsman. Unless & untill insured persons approach legal forums this will going on. Health insurance is like term cover & no maturity value, whenever hospitalization is required insurer has to pay hospital expenses to avoid financial risk. Premiums are being increased every year apart from increases at intervals if such is the case purpose of health insurance will not surve, then it will be of no use & only money will go to insurers.Read More
