Maybe had had problems while going for updation. But I bought HCL Bean Stalk 0n 30.07.2006 but within 2 months with limited use, my machine has given severe wear and tear. DVD writer producing noices and most important, my pc is dead slow and I started using b-band connection only 4 days back and ne...t cannot be attributed to this slow pc. whenever I click any icon on my machine, the yellowlight on my cpu tower glows, glows, glows... There was some 'bent line of scratch' at the bottom of my 17' tft monitor. But they replaced with a new one. What is my worry is within 2 months of operation, I have seen all of their service engineers and the amount of usage of my PC by HCL people is greater than mine. It is better they take away the pc and return the money and relieve me of calling them again and again.Read More

thro my friend(employee of HCL) i ordered for HCL BS. I paid my cheque on 24th jul.06 and received all the items on 29th july. But at 4.00 pm the engineer promised to come for installation but did not turn up. assured to come on sunday the 30th. Since I got thro my friend on employee price I had som...e discount but told him that there is both advantage and disadvantage in buying thro a friend. the adv is discount and dis adv. is lack of prompt service for wich i cannot be harsh with him for my friendship. I paid around 45000 for my specification: 3.06 ghz 512 mb ram, 80 gb hdd , 17' tft monitor and with other things as common for hcl bs.Read More
