Update: Feb 19 2014. Regarding the taste of the water. I filed a complaint online, a technician came 2 days later, he emptied the tank and set the'Mineral Modulator' at level 1(default is 3, I set it at 5, thinking that water taste would improve). Viola! water is very tasty now. I am so relie...Read more

I had a BSA  Diva. I bought it for 32, 000 in 2010.  It goes up to 24 km speed on full charge, later goes down to 20 km. I am not a regular user, I used it only for short distances like 4 or 5 km. Once I went out for 8 km, its power dropped after 8 km. Its body is total piece of plastic, very...Read more

Its been over an year, since I bought this. I use it everyday. So far no issues. My neighbor had this for 2+ years, no issues for them as well. We are also using soap nut, instead of expensive IFB detergent. Its working so well. In India, the tendency is, people come on the internet only to complain.... So you see only negative feedback. I advise you not to take those kind of reviews as the basis for your decision. I am very happy without a maid. I dont have human maid, but I have machine maids, so far I am very satisfied.Read More

Update REPAIR Aug 25,2012 A week back, it suddenly started to make a loud noise. I submitted an online request to come and repair it, in the eureka forbes website. They came within 5hrs. A technician came and said, its going to be 2500 rupees for the repair. He said the engine is gone. I told him t...hat it is working perfectly fine. Then he said ball bearings are gone, then I asked how long will they last, if I choose to change them (still he said the cost is same- Did not understand how), his answer was ’no guarantee’. Then I told him I will think about it and let him know. Then I sent emails through this site to Siddhartha Singh (who seem to represent EForbes), never got a reply from him. Meanwhile, the vacuum is working fine, just the sound is little more. But compared to paying twenty five hundred for the repair, bearing the sound is much more easier. Actually the sound got down to its normal level, sometimes it comes back, but I put some cotton in my ears and its not a big deal. I personally think, something is stuck somewhere or some part is loose, hence the strange noise. I am thoroughly disappointed with Eureka Forbes, who is trying to suck money out of customers for nothing. In Indian market, there is no protection to customers. We have to watch our back ourselves.Read More

I bought this a few days ago, since it was summer, we did not use it initially. We have started using it from a week and its leaking. When I saw these reviews now, I am shocked. How can they give five stars to such a product. I bought this based on five stars in Reliance digital. They took 7,...Read more

I was in testing mode from 6 months. Finally I thought I should give my thoughts here. When I bought I did not find any reviews in India, I found some on Amazon.com, but they are not applicable in Indian context. But I bought it, just out of my fascination for that infomercial. Impulsive buying,...Read more

Thanks for the info. What kind of soapnut should we buy? I mean do they need to be fresh or we can buy any soapnut? If we load soapnut, do we still need to fill salt or no? Please let us know.

Hi Dipesh.Majumdar, You are right. The dust escapes a little all the time in wet mode. But when you vacuum it in dry mode and when it comes to cleaning-- in the process of cleaning, you inhale soooo much dust, evenif you tie a cloth to cover your nose. Compared to that risk, cleaning in wet mod...e is much safer and lesser risk with inhalation of dust.Read More
