This is an article written to give an Idea about how it feels to have a monster like this. I just tried to make it interresting. I have bought this car with my hard earned money. And I am happy about it. I am a hardcore trekker and have a lot of good buddies. No other car serves the purpose as Gyps...y does. When you say I am a spoilt brat, yes sir you are somewhat correct. As far as the calculation of expenses is concerned, the spoiled brat finds sense in owning a gypsy and spend on maintaining it (35000 per year) instead of having an expensive Rickshaw like car and pay interrest on the car loan. The interrest on the car loan is definitely about 15% per year!!! Swift would have costed 3 lakhs more than Gypsy so its Rs45000 per year interrest!!! Rs 10000 Savings!!! Buds now you know. Apart from that, I have saved money in shifting the house twice this year which would cost me around 6000 X 2 = Rs 12000 Total of Rs 22000 savings this year. Other advantages: I never told any friend to take a rickshaw -plenty of space for my entire team to sit in. Save lot of money on my tours and excursions. (roughly Rs 5000 collective savings by me and my friends who joined me on these trips) A rickshar driver bumped my gypsy on the rear bumper and I just had a minor scratch on it, which I got it repaired and painted for Rs 600, if I had a swift, I would have spent Rs 4000 on it. Another saving Rs 3600. In my City Kolhapur, people have just one thing to say to it: NAAD KHULARead More

Before you buy a Gypsy, test drive quite a few to get a hang of good engine condition. Also look under the bonnet to see how well it is maintained, Also you get to see the bodyline over the wheels under the bonnet, if it is not broken and repaired, it indicates that it has not met with any major acc...idents. look under the car and see if there any sign of rust. Also look under the mat inside the car. You can buy a decent car for around 1.9 lakh rupees, I had to pay 2.25 to the seller as he was not very keen to sell it, but I paid it as it was in excellent condition. Dont forget to check 4X4 functioning - that is the main reason why you should buy a Gypsy. Take a mechanic for a review if you are convinced with the rest.Read More

A man should have a car that suits his attitude. People should have knowledge about you when you drive and Gypsy king is that knowledge. 1300 cc macho is a performer. With 4X4 you can climb uphill without need of a road. 5 transmission is another star. This is an Indian counterpart of Suzuki Jim...Read more
