Let me congratulate u for a detailed analysis of a much awaited movie. I like Rituparno's movies very much and was waiting to see the review of this movie with Amitabh. I usually read the reviews in India times and in Hindustan times (I trust this one). Both the reviewers have given only 2 and half ...to this movie! They have severly criticized the screen adaptation and didn't give much credit to the acting too.. of course comparison with Ray's films have bound to come... as Rtuparno is a top notch director.. well written buddy... am waiting to watch this movie. Naseer is one of our asset... so versatile and with him Anupam.. makes it even more interesting. I buy very few movies for my collection... and thinking of keeping it in my collection.

I agree with you... my son (8yrs. old) is a regular viewer of Shin Chan and I too happen to watch sometime. Of course they keep on repeating the same episodes again and again but it is kind of cute.

Hi Rohit,... as usual your review is very well written. I had read the review of Times of India and Hindustan Times. I don always like India times reviewer becoz of her biasedness towards some super stars. But 'Rock On' review of all of you matches... both the other reviewers (IT and HT) parised the... filming of the last concert.. where as you differ with them. I wud have loved to hear little more from you about the two main performers Farhan and Arjun...may be some specific scenes where you njoyed very much their acting. I liked the way you have written about the messege of this particular movie. It is indeed good to note that Yash Raj banner has come out from the type of plots they have treated so far. keep it up buddy..:)Read More
